We were both sake-less on the weekend when we went our separate ways😑. We were supposed to put off sake until this weekend 🥲... but when Jay came home on Monday of our reunion, he received a happy invitation from Nobby, who said, "I was suspected of spying 🕵️ on Tochigi sake at Sake-no-wa, so I thought I'd have a drink 🤭! Oh~! Let's drink it 😋" and the chosen drink was Kirizukuba ‼️ which was recommended by Manachie and I definitely wanted to drink it, and this choice shows the depth of nostalgia of the people of Tochigi Prefecture 😉. There was no "Kogiri" which Aladdin and Mamio were drinking 🥲, but this one was a definite favorite 😙Noby stopped by Ikeda Sake Shop on his way from Utsunomiya to his parents' house in Chiba 🚗 about a month ago and got it for us 🥹. It goes well with grilled fish, so we prepared some accompaniments for dinner 🤗. I'll make love to you! The aroma is lemon flavor! Oh, it's because I squeezed lemon in the dish 😅It's soft and fruity 😌. The first sip is even sweet at the first touch 😍Hey? My first impression is that this is a big dry one 😌. But as you continue to drink it, it gradually becomes more and more dry and crisp 😚. Nice dry 👍 It certainly goes well with the grilled fish of the day! There are many good Ibaraki sake 🤗.

Let's buy something we've never had before! Series 🤗When Nobby went to a liquor store far away 🚗, takeshon-san recommended a cosy one, so I got this one: ‼️ The specs aren't disclosed, but it's said to be a gem that has been carefully polished to the core of the rice 🤩. I'll make love to you The aroma is sweet and reminds me of tropical fruits. I take a sip and oh 😙 this is the first solid sweetness I've tasted in a long time 😋 I think I've tasted this rich sweetness somewhere before 🧐 but I can't remember where at all 😓. The sweetness is complemented by a moderate bitterness, but the sweetness still prevails 😅I couldn't finish it in one day, so I had to split it between two days 😌I could go for sweet 😌... By the way, last weekend we both went to Jay's father's place in Chiba 🚙 before going shopping at "Sake no Oikawa" where we usually stop by 😉 Some say this is the true purpose of our visit 🤭. We got a total of 4 bottles, the one we were after and the one that somehow caught our eye 👍now off to his father we go‼️ When I arrived at the apartment, I put the kids in the fridge🤗I asked them to lie down with their father's favorite Calpis water so I could stand them up 😆 sorry 🙏. But it was a relief to see them gaining weight and feeling better this weekend☺️

Nigori Festival (4) The last of the J&N Nigori Festival is...yes, ❗️ Jigon 🤗I saw it on SNS about a month ago and went to Ikeda Sake Shop for the first time in a while to get it👍. I also bought Gobashi wa:in, Keiraku Tojo Yamadanishiki, and Daimine Fuyu no Otoshiri to fulfill the purchase requirement. Each of them were all delicious 😋. Now let's open the bottle 🤗I carefully opened the bottle to drink the top clear liquid, but then it started to ollie dance 💃! It was all mixed at once 😄Let's have some 🎵. The fruity taste and umami with a slight bitterness in the second half! Everything is in harmony like the Vienna Choir 🥹. Now let's announce the results of the nigori festival 📣. If you are looking for sweet and sour freshness, it's "Otosore" in winter! If you are looking for bittersweet, crisp and refreshing, go for "Yukigumo". Hirotogawa for a balance of sweet and bitter Jikin for beautiful harmony Hmmm... it's hard to choose which one is the winner 😫. Nigori Festival (1) We are proud to announce the opening of the J&N family Nigori Festival ‼️ We held this festival at the beginning of the year, but we had to drink 6 bottles at that time, and we had the problem of getting bored in the middle 😅This time, we tried to have as few sakes as possible that we couldn't drink last time 🤗. The participants were the following 4 sakes! Daimine Winter no Otoshiri: First time to drink this sake since the name was changed from Yuki-Onna-san. Hirotogawa Nigori: This is the second year in a row that I have participated in this event, and it was the winner of last year's Novy. Jikin Nigori: Finally got it 🥹! The first one I had was Winter no Otosore! I had a Snow Onna before, but it's been two years since then: ‼️ I've already been brainwashed by many people saying Muscat 😅. I opened the bottle without any blowout! Sweet aroma wafts through the air 😌. The first sip starts off with a gentle sweetness, which is balanced by a slight acidity with a touch of gas 😋. It's a perfect bottle to open the season 🤗. On the second day, it becomes rounder and more delicious: ⤴️ OK...I'll go next time! Let's go next time! Oh! I have an announcement to make. My insurance has covered the replacement of the windshield on my car and I no longer have to pay out-of-pocket 🤗. Now I can buy 100 bottles of alcohol 🤣.

A story from a while ago. I was looking at the fridge of a liquor store I hadn't visited in a while, and I thought, 🤔I wonder if this is wine🍷 flavored? I had a gut feeling that it might be wine 🤔🍷 flavor and brought it here without looking at the label too much😊. When I looked closely before drinking it, I found that the notation on the front of the label, which I thought was written in English, was actually in Roman characters (❗️). I read the romaji and found out that it is a Jungin sake made with wine yeast and is a secret sake of Gobashi 😳. They are so clever as to release it on the third Thursday of November to compete with Beaujolais 😤😁. You're a Japonais ❓ Beaujolais or Gokyolais ❓ that's their catchphrase 🤣. I'll have some 🎵! Hmmm! This is an unusual taste 🤔It's sweet and acidic, but I can feel a lot of sweetness! But the sweetness is very unique, it's like candies ⁉️ Do you know what I mean😅 It tasted quite different from the Gobashi we had in Iwakuni 😆. By the way, Otani has decided to play for Dodgers. ❗️ Even if we hear the amount 💰, we don't know how much it is for common people 😅 We are big fans of Otani! I think we can drink good sake with Otani as a snack for a while 🤣.

Everything is good at Sharaku! Is it because it's always well-balanced and has a strong body? It has a solid body. Overall, it is rich and mellow, with a strong sake flavor that I like very much! Of all the nigoris I've had recently, this one is just as good as Winter's Eve!

I go to the liquor store every week and buy nigori sake... It really is released every week this time of the year! So I bought a nigori of Isshaku-Suisei and an ogara-mi of Sharaku! Very well balanced and relatively dry! It can be paired with all kinds of snacks, and it's very cost-effective too!
