Junmai nao kumi-unfiltered unpasteurized sake, bottled on December 7, 2023 Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 17%. Today is the annual kingfish fishing tournament with fishing buddies🤗. We compete with the total length of three pieces. The result was 3rd place with 62.0cm 😃. I was 2cm behind the leader. I would have won if I had caught a bigger fish, but it was a fun fishing tournament. I brought 3 20cm glass fish to my usual restaurant and had them cooked 😋. The fish were beautifully prepared by professionals, and the kingfish bone crackers were also delicious. The sake was sealed, slightly dry, with a carbonation feeling with a slight effervescence characteristic of nama-zake, and had a refreshing taste. Last year, I encountered a morning pressing on March 3 after the vernal equinox, and I was lucky enough to have another one at the end of this year. Tomiou Junmai Ginjo-shu Hiyoroshi 100% Tanshu Yamadanishiki, Polishing ratio 55%, ALC 15 It does not have much of a ginjo aroma, and is a slightly dry sake with a slight habit. I had to refrain from drinking alcohol because my family issued a prohibition on alcohol and feet for my daughter who was back home for the birth of her baby 😅. She was due in early November, but she was born a little less than two weeks late 🤗. This allowed me to attend daytime drinks with my friends and meet new drinks in the evening 😋. It is a very dry sake with a faint aroma of rice and a slight bitter taste on the palate 🥰. I drank a total of 4.5 gos of sake in about 4 hours, chipping away by myself...I drank a lot after a long time. Since it is said to be made exclusively for mackerel, I ordered some seared and vinegared mackerel and had it with it.
