Timeline
としひこThe sixth omakase at Sushi Matsumoto🍣 in Itabashi🍶.
The last one was also dry. I used to drink Sanzenmori when I was in Nagoya. I don't think you can find it in Tokyo. としひこOmakase 5th at Sushi Matsumoto🍣 in Itabashi 🍶.
Super spicy here! But this is the kind of thing I like to have at the end of the day when my stomach is full and I'm getting a little drunk 🎵. としひこFourth omakase at Sushi Matsumoto🍣 in Itabashi 🍶.
Shichihon-yari from Shiga. I've never heard of Tamakae sake rice 😆 There are many types of sake rice. としひこThe third omakase at Sushi Matsumoto🍣 in Itabashi 🍶.
I like Mimurosugi, but this was my first time to try it. I was surprised when I drank it. It was very dry for a Mimurosugi. I didn't know there was such a type. It is good for sushi. としひこSecond omakase at Sushi Matsumoto🍣 in Itabashi 🍶.
Tanaka Rokugo. I've heard a lot about this brand, but I didn't know it was from Fukuoka...^^; This was my first time to try it, but it's just the right amount of salt for a mid-meal drink. I like it! としひこOmakase 1st at Sushi Matsumoto🍣 in Itabashi 🍶.
The other day, I had this at Matsuura's 🎵 I guess this is what sushi should be served with 😆. Hiran"Black Jack" Hommage a Tei Seiko 極辛口純米 としひこThis is the sixth popular sushi restaurant in Itabashi.
The fifth, Kafuda Sake Sake Mirai, was omitted because I forgot to take a picture.
First time to see this sake. I don't know what it means ❗Laughs
It is quite nice to end with a dry sake. It was the same at Toshizaki the other day.
Torotaku for the end. The balance between the rice and the neta is strange! 🤣 としひこThis is the fourth popular sushi restaurant in Itabashi.
A famous sake from Shizuoka. I would like to know the origin of the name!
It has a refreshing taste and doesn't interfere with the tsumami. Beautiful sake 🎵
Sujiko and Akitogi (swordfish). I wonder if the akitogi is already over. I hardly saw any at the supermarket. I grilled it only once at home! The cheap and tasty akitogi is now a thing of the past. But, I still think it is expensive compared to other fish,
But compared to other fish, it's not that expensive... としひこThis is the third popular sushi restaurant in Itabashi.
Jikin's Senbon Nishiki. Delicious as always. It has sweetness but not too much. It has a good balance. A definite choice.
Yellowtail zuke and steamed abalone with liver sauce. The standard way to eat abalone. After eating the abalone, the rice is added. としひこThis is the second popular sushi restaurant in Itabashi.
Ishikawa's Kikuhime. Aged and a bit twitchy. There are many such sake from Ishikawa, but I don't like them.
Kabako crab and monkfish liver. It's the season, isn't it? It's nice to have something that reminds me of the season. としひこThe first in a popular sushi restaurant in Itabashi.
Koei Kiku. A good starter. Slightly gassy and light even at 15 degrees.
No one can go wrong with Koei-Kiku.
On this day, we started with the big fatty tuna. Hachinohe longline 180kg. The fat is so bad... 😍. としひこThe sixth and last at Sushi Matsumoto. This is a gourd-shaped bottle of Hidakami. Hidakami is a dry sake, but this one is a little different. But this one is a little different! としひこThis was the fifth dish at Sushi Matsumoto, a Junmai Ginjo of Kachikoma. I was planning to visit Toyama in September, so I thought I could drink as much as I wanted... but I had no choice since I ordered omakase.
Kachikoma is over-hyped, but it's also delicious! No problem. としひこThe fourth at Sushi Matsumoto. Yamamoto's dry sake. This kind of food is good because of the hot weather. But it has a good flavor. It is not just spicy!
But what is sexy Yamamoto yeast...^^;. としひこThis is the third restaurant at Sushi Matsumoto. In contrast to the past, Hana Yuu is full of flavor and sweetness. This sake is brewed in Akita under the supervision of Jyushiyo's Takagi Sake Brewery.
Like Jyushiyo, Hana Yuu is delicious no matter what you drink it with, but as a food sake, it is not so subtle. But this one is relatively good. It is definitely good as a stand-alone sake. としひこThe second Sushi Matsumoto is Isojiman. This is the brand that brought Yusuke Sato back into the world of sake. Without Isojiman, there would be no Shinmasa today.
This sake has a sharp taste as if it were aluzoe. It is also good for hot summer. It is delicious. としひこSushi Matsumoto in Itabashi, which I was able to get for the first time in a while. I really can't get a reservation. I used to go to Sushi Matsumoto once a month when I used to blurt out on social media that I had no reservations today. Now I've switched to OMAKASE and it seems to be a little easier to get a reservation, but it's still hard to get one.
I think it's like abandoning your wife, which is not a good thing for a restaurant! And I can't help but complain here...^^;.
Today's first sake is Niigata's Ryougo. It was my first time to drink this brand, but I quite liked it. It is refreshing like a summer sake, but also has a great flavor. I think this is the perfect food sake. My personal opinion... ^^;; I think it is a perfect food sake. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
