According to the store's introduction, it has "a mild aroma reminiscent of bananas and melons, the ultimate food sake. It has a summery feel. Slow and relaxing.
Comparison of new sake.
(1) Jyushidai Hon-nama Gen-nagori-narashu "light nigori new sake made from directly pumped raw sake with slag that has dripped from the mouth of the tank": light and sweet. Light and sweet, easy on the tongue, almost melting. It soaks into the body after exercise. Comfortable.
(2) Jyushidai: "Scented new sake made from the drops that dripped from the mouth of the tank": This sake is also sweet, but the impression is that it is tight. I am glad I was born in Japan.
It goes smoothly into the mouth cavity, but you can feel the weight of it with a thud. Then, there is a bitter taste without bitterness. It is clear, but dense. I want to make it slowly and slowly. It's that kind of drink.
550 yen @ Nerima.
It has a very mellow mouthfeel. It is supposed to be liquid, but it melts in your mouth. Even those who are not good at sake will be convinced by the taste. 550 yen @ Nerima.
Despite its clear appearance, it has a rich flavor and depth that spreads in the mouth.
It is claimed to be a barrel whisky, but it really has a great barrel feeling. It can be called an elegant whiskey.
To begin with, this is the first time I've ever had junmai sake made from ancient rice... It's so good! It has a sweet flavor that doesn't linger even when heated. It's also supposed to be good with soda, and it certainly is. I wonder if this is even sake? It's going to be addictive.
It is crystal clear and has the feel of running water in the throat.
It has just the right amount of sweetness and aroma, perfect for today, the end of the rainy season.
@Somewhere in Tokyo.
On the way home from listening to Rakugo, it was a cold night after a long time. I wanted to eat eel, so I saw an advertisement on the streetcar and jumped in.
This was the only one that could be heated, so I ordered it.
This is the only one that can be served warm, so I order it. Since it's for the masses, they don't control the temperature, so they can't match the quality of the sake. It's not that Kiku-Masamune itself is bad, but it's the attitude of the restaurant that matters, how much love they put into the sake they serve.
The eel is the selling point, and the sake is secondary. Well, that may be the case, but I felt it was a waste. You can get warm, though.
470 yen/gallon @Otsuka.
Special Junmai, served hot. The sweet aroma gently envelops the tongue. A little chilly on a new moonlit night with leafy cherry blossoms.
960 yen/gallon @ Higashinakano.
Slightly sweet taste. There is no peculiarity, and the image wraps the esophagus smoothly.
I can honestly say it's delicious.
700/half a bottle @ Nakano.
I drank 550 yen/half a bottle @Nakano at the first shot after entering the restaurant.
Actually, I've already drunk it and it's not in my memory, but it fell into my stomach so easily that I could finish it while waiting for the meal before eating. I heard it's not easy to find. Bliss.
Warmed up to 55°C @ Higashinakano.
It was the first time I drank outside (at a bar) since the emergency declaration was lifted, and it was quite a crowded place.
As someone who'd been drinking alone whether the state of emergency was declared or not, I felt like everyone was holding back. There are a lot of people who can't enjoy themselves alone, and I myself have a disposition to enjoy myself only alone.
That's what I was thinking at night.
It was served hot at a nearby tempura restaurant.
Soft mouthfeel, refreshingly dry.
As warm as the spring sunshine.
A nice weekend afternoon.
600/gallon @ Nakano.
Itoshima City Yamada Nishiki 65% Junmai Sake @ Higashinakano. The aroma was described as "crisp and soft, reminiscent of grapes," and it was crisp but not overpoweringly sweet. It's very lovely.
540 yen/half a bottle.
50°C heated sake @ Higashinakano. The aroma wafts in nicely without having to bring your face close. In the mouth, I was surprised at how soft it was. I guess this is the royal road.
When I saw the description of the restaurant, "Please leave your prejudices behind.
It has no peculiarities, and the flavor spreads subtly.
If the restaurant wasn't crowded, I'd enjoy it more with some tzumami.
630 yen/gallon Kanzake from noon at soba noodle shop in Higashi Nakano.
