I was worried about whether the taste had changed since I bought it in May or June? Bought as a souvenir on a business trip to Sendai. I bought it because it looked like spring. I thought the taste was normal just by its appearance, but I had never had it before. Cherry-like? Is the color of the drink pulling you in? (I haven't had cherries for a long time, so I can't remember what cherries taste like lol) Anyway, it is sweet and delicious!
