American who used to live in Japan and still gets to visit for work somewhat frequently. Have always enjoyed sake and shochu but looking to learn more.
Fresh on the nose with a hint of rice umami. Smoooooooth on the tongue with a bit of a tangy aftertaste (in a good way).
Had as part of a Toyama sake tasting in Bar de Mitomi.
Fruity but still somewhat dry. Melon and pear on the nose. Slightly acidic on the way down my throat. Very good!
Had in a Toyama sake tasting at Bar de Mitomi 🥰
Not too cloying - nicely balanced! A bit sweeter than champagne but still quite nice.
Drank with the GQM at the amazing 100 Year Kura in Hakata at a sake nomihoudai dinner.
