Clear acidity. Little sweetness.
Perhaps it was because I drank it after eating fruit, but I had the impression that the acidity was more pronounced.
I think it would go well with chilled chilled Chinese noodles or Yamagata's chilled meat soba noodles.
Chiyotsuru Eda (Nama Sake)
Rice variety Tominokou (organically grown in Namekawa)
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol content 18%.
This is one of the limited edition of 1,100 bottles, which was brought to us in December of the year before last and aged for a year and a half in the refrigerator at home. The last time we aged it for a year, it had a strong hiney aroma and we felt it was a failure. At one and a half years, I didn't feel the twangy aroma at first, but as it got closer to room temperature, the twangy aroma started to appear. I think it would be better to let it age more.
Sakai bring-your-own-office meeting 2025, then (2)
We moved to Sakai-higashi and went to Yayoya, which Uma-san wanted to visit.
The second meeting place, if you look at the photo, it was taken around 6:30 p.m. The first photo taken at the third meeting place was at 8:00 p.m.
I took a cab, but it didn't take that long, and I don't remember staying that long at the 2nd meeting place, but maybe my sense of time is not correct 🤔.
I drank Chiyotsuru.
Chiyotsuru is a sake that cannot be bought in Kansai, so I chose it.
I think it's a refreshingly fruity sake.
It is similar to Katsushikoma, but I personally feel it is sweeter and softer on the palate than Katsushikoma.
I like to drink sake that is usually consumed in unfamiliar places.
I bought this sake when I was in Toyama. I was also struck by the visual 💕.
Namekawa is just passing by 🚙🙇♂️
Thinking of the city near the sea 😌.
Even the honjozo is luxurious with 60% polished rice✨
It's soft on the palate and goes well with all kinds of snacks 😊.
And quite dry ⚡️
I thought it tasted similar to Niigata sake, but it's interesting that it's clearly different from the one from the neighboring Joetsu region 🤔.
Good evening, Jurian.
I like your local sake, honjozo.
I envy you the luxury of making sake with 60% polished rice. The taste of sake is different even in neighboring prefectures such as Niigata and Toyama. It is interesting.
Thank you very much, Maruwa-san.
I felt that Namekawa is closer to Niigata in Toyama Prefecture and this sake was a good approximation, but the Joetsu region adjacent to Toyama Prefecture has many sweet sake even within Niigata, which led me to the above impression 😊.
I bought this on my way home from a business trip.
I thought it would be sweet, but the taste was very refreshing and sharp. I thought it was sweet, but the taste was very refreshing and sharp, so I thought it might be dry. It is a beautiful sake, and I think it is better not to chill it too much. I will try Junmai Ginjo next time as it seems to have a different taste.
This is one of the sake I got from a liquor store in Toyama.
It has a beautiful umami taste, a slight spiciness, and a moderate acidity, and is superbly balanced.
The last day of the holiday weekend was a sake from Toyama Prefecture that I had procured when I was in Kanazawa.
It is not a draft sake, but it is a very tasty food sake 😊.
Easy to drink with a refreshing taste
Slightly dry with little sweetness
It has a nice sharpness and matches well with food. ✨️
It was recommended by the owner, but it was the right choice: ✌️
Just a few of the drinks from last week's trip to Toyama that I have not posted here....
Eden by Chiyotsuru, which may not be a major sake in Tokyo, but is very popular in Toyama and is fought over by many.
It is made from 100% Tominokoso produced in Namekawa and limited to 1,400 bottles. It is limited to 1,400 bottles and has a high alcohol content of 18 degrees.
