We opened a bottle of Keida, which had been laid up for a year, because we wanted to drink it again after the Nigori Nama Sake was empty!
It was stored in a chilled room, so it was crisp and clear and seems to have aged well!
As expected, this one didn't empty 😉.
By the way, we were able to bring Shinsei Tangerine today and when we put Tangerine in the chilled room where Keida was, it got stuck inside and stopped pulling out like a drawer 😥.
I fought with the fridge for a while and managed to pull it out and move it to another place!
I forgot about the tenryo sake cups 😅.
Chiyotsuru Nama Nigori Sake 720ml
Rice variety Tentakaku
Rice polishing ratio 70%.
Alcohol content 19-20%.
The bottle was opened following the Shinmasa.
Thick, creamy and slightly dry!
My brother prefers this one 🤔.
Chiyotsuru Junmai Ginjo
Aroma: A modest ginjo aroma, followed by a thickened banana sweetness and sourness.
The thickening, banana sweetness, and acidity are followed by a slightly bitter and pungent taste that naturally wears off, but the umami of the rice lingers in the aftertaste.
It is clear and refreshing, but also relaxing.
It is often compared to Katsuma, but I have the impression that it is milder than Katsuma and goes with any meal without interfering.
However, it is too mild to be a classic sake, so it may be a little lacking for lovers of classical sake.
In any case, it is a delicious sake that is easy to drink.
Chiyotsuru are said to be only available in Toyama Prefecture.
I was lucky enough to come across it!
Indeed, it has a depth, a gradually increasing flavor, and a delicious taste. This is good!
This is my first time to drink Toyama sake! I went to buy some Fat Koma, but they didn't have it, so I bought this one. It seems that there was a time when he was the toji (master brewer) of both Katsuyama and Toyama, and it is as good as ◯Koma! It seems that most of the sake is consumed in Toyama.
Transparent light body! Fairly mild aroma of banana flavor.
It was quite rough when it was first opened, but it settled down and became like clear water! Modest sweetness, no acidity, soft and sharp! Flows down the throat quite softly compared to modern types.
I spent about a month drinking it and had it as an accompaniment during meals!
I've never had Katsu Fat, but no wonder it's so highly rated!
