I found an immovable omachi and bought it immediately 🍶. From the spread of the gorgeous aroma...the fruitiness and sharpness that comes at the beginning does not disappoint 😄They bring out the best of OMACHI. Today's entrée is "Salmon marinated in sake lees" which I brought back as a souvenir to myself after being impressed at the sake brewery cafe Oar at Yoro Sake Brewery in Yamanashi over the weekend! The salmon carefully marinated in sake lees is exquisite and the best match for sake. The ultimate luxury of a dinner with a little bit of salmon marinated in sake lees 😆. I guess the same sake connection makes for a good match❣️.

The owner of the brewery, who knew how much I love Yamaguchi's Kinjaku, gave me a wooden box of Kinjaku Hisho for my birthday. I had planned to open the bottle on a special occasion, but that day never came, so I opened it today as a reward for my hard work 😀. The aroma is faintly fruity, and when you put it in your mouth, elegant aromas such as pear and pine muscat fill your mouth. It's not too sweet, but it's a great guy who can easily cut through the sweetness. It is a representative of a fine sake to be drunk with a glass of wine 🍷 🍶I highly recommend it👍.

This is the end of my favorite series, Michi no Isshu, using Kame-no-o, a well-known sake from Natsuko's Sake. I opened the bottle after finishing Shinshu Kamerei, so I'm not sure if I can give a true report... I am not sure if I can give a real report... The aroma is fruity but not sweet, the palate is pineapple-like but with a limited spread and a lingering rice flavor that is exquisite, and it just so happens to go great with leftover cherry tomatoes 😄. It's a food wine you can drink forever that won't interfere with your meal 😄.

The label of the Yokoyama rose🌹... hmm... What's it like? Shizuoka beef steak with a refreshing lemon flavor and a rose label in a glass of wine 🥂! In addition to the mellowness of the Yokoyama, it has a gorgeous aroma of the floral yeast, a freshness in the mouth, and is not too sweet or heavy.... It's a great food sake that won't interfere with your meal 😊. It's the kind of 🍶 that you can drink endlessly!

I went to my usual liquor store looking for summer sake... A bottle of Shinshu Kamerei for the first time! The entrée was a cheese fondue of summer vegetables and cucumbers with Kinzanji miso, all ready to go. The aroma of fruitiness lured me in... The moment I put it in my mouth, the rice flavor came over me, but the lingering taste of lychee or pear lingered in my mouth. It's the type of sake that has a nice sharpness and goes down easy 🍶. I drank too much again😅.

The season of Akabu Mountain has come. It is described on the back of the bottle as "expressing the grandeur of the mountains..." So I'm drinking it with a side of Narazuke to see what it's like 🍶. It has no aroma, a refreshing sensation on the tongue from the moment you swallow it, a slight gassy feeling, and a non-fruity sharpness and refreshing feeling that is not unlike Akabu, which is a new sensation for me. If you are expecting the standard Akabu, you will feel it is completely different. It went down so smoothly😅.

What is your favorite oriental beauty, Asian beauty liquor like? I was curious and bought it 🍶. Low alcohol content, fruity on the palate, muscat or lychee like, little residual flavor, crisp and smart 😃. I had it with a glass of wine 🍷, chilled to a crisp 😊.

I haven't had a Huayouyasui in a while, and I had it in a wine glass 🥂. Fruity on the palate, peachy 🍑 pear 🍐 feeling that goes away 😄. An endless loop that leaves an aftertaste but allows you to quickly move on to the next one 😊. I am still impressed that this sake is not just a simple drink 🍶.

Shimane's Super-Oroku 2019, a sake that tastes different from year to year, making it fun to compare 🍶. The aroma is subdued, but the moment it hits the palate, the fruitiness spreads out, the sharpness goes down the throat, and the indescribable richness remains strong and nice 😊. I made a side dish for drinking Oroku tonight😃. 1️⃣Heavenly Ginger Pork Rolls & Miso Mayo 2️⃣Konnyaku dengaku 3️⃣Egg tofu This light and white food fits well with Oroku 😀. Leaf ginger is in season now and goes great with Oroku 🍶. Try it 👌

Saga's Nabeshima summer sake, summer moon Enjoyed it with scallops and firefly squid on a hot and humid night 🍶. Nose...fruity aroma, but it's slight and thinner than other Nabeshima 😅. In the mouth, it has a refreshing sharpness typical of summer sake, but it is a great food sake that leaves a delicious aftertaste and does not interfere with the goodness of the food 👌Lychee or pear or.... I drank it alternately with craft beer, but it was so sharp that I didn't feel uncomfortable and drank too much comfortably 🍶.

I just happened to get this space beer 🍺. It has a lot of hops and is very strong....delicious! It was gone before I could get a chance to drink it, so I opened a bottle of Ura-nabeshima, which is the main topic. The entrée was cucumber 🥒 with iburigakko tartar, butter corn 🌽 and daikon kimchi! The aroma is subtle and expects mellowness, and the rice flavor is firm, but the fruitiness that comes through is sharp and the rice flavor comes through again... it's a good one 🍶. I have a feeling this will be something else tomorrow 😆. I'll have to save some for tomorrow, but I've already crossed the 2-port line 💦. More to look forward to tomorrow 😊.

It was described as "a strange and beautiful sake from the land of Sai", but was it really...? No aroma. The moment you drink it, a sense of fruitiness spreads in your mouth. I have an image that Sairai has a sharp taste, but it leaves a refreshing extract that is not unpleasant...next...next...next... It's the type of beer that you drink too much of👍. The balance between mellow and refreshing is perfect. Today's drink was a BBQ by myself 🍖. Started with COEDO beer from Kawagoe 🍺. Enjoying drinking alone in Saitama 😃.

Summer is here‼️Abe-chan green, excuse me but I made it on the rocks 🍶. On the rocks it tastes like... lemon sour 🍋! It has a hint of lemon in it, so it looks and tastes just like a lemon sour itself 😀. Feeling the waves crashing at the beach house... with the 🧊sound of the ice... what do you think about? The entrée can be sashimi or bagna cauder👍. The rice feeling that is typical of Niigata melts in a nice way. Try it 😆.

Toyo Bijin Mellow Road Isshitsu Series Yamadanishiki appeared ️ which had been waiting in the fridge. Compared to the mellowness of Aizan and the strength of Saito no Shizuku, Yamadanishiki is smooth and stable, but with a strong sense of fruit and rice. I️ think the second day of both Aizan and Yamadanishiki are the best for me. I wanted to drink it quickly, so I'm starting with butter corn 🌽 and cod roe for now. It's a sake that doesn't interfere with food 🍶. I recommend this series👍

I was impressed by Toyo Bijin's Jyundo Isshu and Omachi, but I happened to come across this one at the store... Saito no Shizuku💧. I had never heard of this rice before, but the spread and the aftertaste are great👍It's almost indistinguishable from the Jyushidai, and the aftertaste is not unpleasant either 😀. It's a sake with an elegant taste 🍶! This series of Toyo Bijin is the best 👍I'm looking forward to it more now that the Yamadanishiki is waiting in the fridge😄.

Niigata Abe-chan Gold Label, this has overturned the image of Abe-chan so far😃. Fruit sphere spreading on the palate, hmmm.... I've been drinking the green label on the rocks with all due respect, but I'd like to drink this in a wine glass 🍷. The breadth and sharpness is indeed abe👍. Best food wine 👌. I had it with horse sashimi today 😆.

A brownish sake that is completely different from the white image of "Fudo" (steadfast). I thought it was a bad one, but it was delicious. The refreshing mouthfeel was unexpected, but it has a unique old sake feel, not clinging, but it has a lingering aftertaste like a single malt whiskey, but it goes down smoothly. It was my first experience with old sake, but I discovered that it is nothing special!

This is the first time I've had Sado sake, which was given to me by a fellow sake drinker, and it's a solid food sake👍. The first sip has a nice crispness and breadth that is typical of Niigata 😃. It has a very firm Yamadanishiki rice flavor without any lingering aftertaste 😃. It's hard to believe that it's 35% polished, it has a very Niigata-like feel similar to the Kafuda Sake. Delicious 😋 I was quickly emptying it 😅.

When I drink this sake, I feel summer is coming..........................the season is here. I got a lot of leaf ginger from Kunou today, so I'm having it with miso mayonnaise and meat rolls 🍖. I wasn't sure if it would go well with a crispy side dish, but it went perfectly👍. I'm enjoying GW with some wasabi pickles to change the taste. I have to work tomorrow, so I'll stop here 😅.

I grilled seasonal bamboo shoots. I seasoned them with rock salt and put on some green onion miso... I chose a sake from the fridge, "Ona" from Tochigi. The first glass I just opened was surprisingly gassy and mouth-filling melon 🍈 just surprising aroma and taste. The fruity feeling does not go away, but it has a gentle aftertaste that does not linger. It was also compatible with garlic-heavy bonito sashimi. Thank you for the first Ona, it was a treat.
