It's been a while since I drank Kokushi Musou🍶 Hiyayoshigoshi, which is a mellow sake with a hint of umami after the corners are removed, and the second half is tight, spicy, and sharp.
I rarely drink sake with alcohol 🍶, but this was my first time to try Hokkaido sake 😅.
It was easy to drink and had a great sharpness, which is characteristic of Aruzoe. It's exactly like... a food sake‼️ which is a bad thing the next day if you drink too much💦.
Great with food😍.
The only regret I have is that I don't get a chance to drink Hokkaido sake as there are not many liquor stores that carry it 😢.
I'm really curious to try this because I've never been to this part of the world 😂.
On my way back from a business trip to Hokkaido last year, I was recommended to buy a limited edition brewer's product at a souvenir store in New Chitose Airport, so I bought it.
The aroma is not so noticeable at room temperature, but when it is cooled down, it has an elegant aroma.
The mildness of the rice spreads on the palate, followed by a sharp taste, leaving a mellow aftertaste despite being a ginjo-shu.
It is a deep sake that goes well with a variety of snacks, though it is different from the clarity and luxury of so-called junmai daiginjo-shu.
