On days like this when you still feel the cold of winter, it's nigori sake from Shirakawa-go. We will have it with chicken meat in miso nabe🍲 (don't forget the "kanzuri" condiment!). (Don't forget to add "kanzuri" as a condiment to the nabe 😉!)
Cloudy white color. Aroma of rice. The aroma is weak. The mouthfeel is thick and sweet. Rough texture on the tongue. Sharp bitterness. Relatively sharp and short aftertaste. Refreshing sake.
It has a heavy, thick texture and is sweet and delicious. It is so thick that it is hard to swallow, so it is best to drink it on the rocks while it is dissolved.

The Tokyu Store in my neighborhood has been remodeled and now carries many chilled Japanese sake products. Here is one from that section.
In a previous post, I wrote about the relationship between nigori sake and amazake, and this one is sweet and rather similar to amazake.
I am impressed that there is such a thing.
It has a slight sourness and a soft, full-bodied sweetness.
It's a bit sour, soft, full-bodied, and sweet, and it feels like you're eating rice! It's good sometimes.
Maybe I'll want to drink something like this when it gets colder!
