Sake produced by Daisuke Ono, Kochi Prefecture Tourism Special Envoy and Sagawa Town Tourism Ambassador
Shibotan AMAOTO
Sweet and gentle taste.
It has no sharpness, so you can drink it at room temperature or cold.
As expected of Daisuke Ono! Mr. Daisuke Ono!
A souvenir from a business trip to Kochi.
It is fruity and not like Kochi sake.
I didn't know there was such a thing. It is delicious!
A glass of wine seems to go well with it.
Today, we had a meeting to enjoy Shiseido peonies. We enjoyed a total of 30 varieties of shibotan.
The standout was this Kuroganeya. It won a gold medal at the National New Sake Competition.
It tastes better at room temperature than when chilled.
At "Akagi", Iriya, Ueno
Next up was Tsukasa Botan Tosa no Chokkotsu Honjozo from Kochi.
I thought it would be good with strongly seasoned eel. I was a little hesitant to order it, thinking it would be good with highly seasoned eel! 😅
Surprisingly, it doesn't have any harshness.
It's not too harsh.
It has a solid attack, but it's not bad.
If anything, it is light and dry, and the umami expands as it goes down the throat.
It is a good match with food, and it works slowly! 😁
My wife started pressuring me to drink too much! I started to put pressure on her! (LOL)
I got it as a souvenir 🍶.
A full-bodied, thick Junmai-shu (pure rice sake)
It has a strong flavor and is very drinkable.
but with a crisp and calm taste.
Classic and typical junmai taste
It is also good as a chilled sake.
