I guess they are not that distinctive and are just so-so tasty.

I went to a new restaurant in Yodobashi Umeda where I was guided by a sake taster.

According to Icoma Sake Brewery and Shinjo-san, it was empty during the daytime, so I completely missed the timing of my visit 💦.
At room temperature. The sweetness is quite sweet and not as classical as the label suggests.
It has a gentle taste that I could drink it all the time 😋.
It seems like it should be heated, but I don't have a sake warmer and it's a hassle 🤔.
This drink was also consumed by Wakata a while ago😊.
Sweet and slightly fruity.
Silky with a smooth and tender mouthfeel.
Tastes even better than I expected 😋.

I went to Yodobashi the week after the Japanese Sake festival and found 3 different kinds of sake 😊.
I bought it along with the Echigo Toji that I posted about one time before.
I didn't write it down, but according to the information at the sake festival, the rice is Yumesansui.
When I drank it at the sake festival, I thought it was a sweet and sour sake, but something about it gave me a different impression. Even after leaving it in the fridge for a little while, the impression didn't change much.
After 3 days, it seems sweeter 🤔.
Found this at Yodobashi.
Echigo Toji is sold at Haretoke, but I had the impression that it was only classic sake, so I passed on it, but this one has a modern-looking label, so I bought it!
Polishing ratio 48%, Gohyakumangoku
I imagined it to be light and dry, but it is a bit richer than I expected and has a good amount of sweetness. The latter half of the bottle has an impression of converging with spiciness.
I was curious about this sake because Wakata-san was drinking it.
I had given up on the idea that I wouldn't be able to buy it, but Yodobashi was selling it😅.
The aroma is fruity. The gas is not so strong as to be called active. It has lactic acidity and greefiness. It is indeed creamy as rumored. It has no pungency or sake-like taste, so it is a very easy-drinking nigori sake.
I was kind of busy and couldn't go out for a drink or buy anything, so I had this one in the fridge.
I didn't expect so much, but it was surprisingly tasty.
It was easy to drink and went down very smoothly.
While doing a little shopping, I had a cup of Kikuhime to try.
I thought it would be more classical and matured, but it was surprisingly easy to drink.
It is even better when slightly warmed.
The project is said to be a project of young employees of Toa Brewery.
When I think of Toa Shuzo, I have an image of them selling very cheap sake at business supermarkets😅.
It is now part of King Brewery, which is famous for Hinode Mirin, and is also related to that Ichiro's Malt 😳.
It is light and slightly sweet. It is easy to drink as it is not spicy. Might be better to drink as a food sake 🤔.
Personally, I think that since it is one of the more expensive sake in Toa Shuzo's lineup (about 1800 yen), they should at least specify the name of the rice.

Today's sake is Shichiken from Yamanashi Prefecture 😀.
Actually, when I cleared Yamanashi Prefecture on my first trip around Japan, it was a sparkling called Yama no Kasumi 😀.
It was very tasty and gave me the impression that sparkling sake is good 😀.
This time, the second round, it is Soranosai, which is the top of the previous sake 😀.
I opened the bottle with high expectations... it's still delicious 😀.

It is indeed a delicious sparkling sake, but while the Flax Cat Sparkling I drank yesterday was a delicious and superb champagne, this one was in the range of delicious bubbly sake 😅.

Goofs aside, I chose to toast with a sparkling sake from Shichiken, which will be my first time in Yamanashi Prefecture 😀.
Before I quit drinking alcohol, I used to drink champagne for any anniversary, but this Shichiken was better than champagne 😀.
