I was so curious about what other people were drinking at a standing bar that I ordered it without thinking.
It looked like a strawberry shake. Delicious.
This is the first sake I have had from the Shunsei Shuzo brewery in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
It is a good dry sake, not too harsh, with a full-bodied flavor.
I think it would be good as a food sake, but I have not seen it in other stores.
I wonder if it is a small brewery or if it is not widely available in other prefectures.
The aroma is faintly cucurbitaceous.
A little bitterness in the flavor.
The aftertaste is quite clean and dry.
It is quite different from the soft feeling one gets from the label, but it is delicious.
This is the first sake from Oita since the start of Sakegawa.
Slightly dry with umami. Slightly dry. It seems to go well with sashimi and other dishes.
It is considered rare, but not that rare. If you can find it at a cheap place, you can have it as a commemorative drink. It is refreshing but a little sweet. I don't recommend it as a food sake. I would drink it only as a footprint.
