With Mr. Wakata & Yuki
Hokusetsu Sake Shop Tour 🚗 with Mr. Wakata & Mr. Yuki
There is one more store left...
The bottle was empty...
I'm going to serve Yamori first 😁.
First summer sake this year...
This is already an adult cider 🫧.
The sweetness spreads with a light effervescence
The bitterness finishes it off nicely 😋.
Even after the fizziness was gone on the third day
It was still a cider 😁.
When I was a kid, cider in my house was
Mitsuya cider 🥤.
I drank Kirin Lemon 🍋 at a friend's house.
It was so delicious and amazing🫢.
I think Mitsuya cider is the one for Yamori 🙄🙄. ジェイ&ノビィHi Rafa papa 😃
You have a fresh and beautiful Yamori 🦎! It has a cider feel to it 🤗The bitterness is what makes it taste so adult 😋.
When I was a kid, Kirin Lemon 🍋 was a luxury I could only drink once in a while 😅. おふじRafa papa Hello ☀️
I've been curious about Yamori🦎 for a while, but I've never been able to buy it...
I've been curious about it for a long time, but I've never been able to buy it! The color is just like that!
Adult cider....already great for this hot time of the year 💕︎ Rafa papaHi Jay & Nobby😃.
Kirin Lemon🍋 was my dream drink 🤣I was shocked when I had it for the first time🫨Yamori's summer drink is Mitsuya Cider but it's delicious 😋. Rafa papaHi Ofuji 😃
Ikushima sake store where I bought this sake is the closest to Aikawa station on Hankyu Kyoto line😊I think Ofuji-san is also in the neighborhood 😁It's an interesting store where they let you sample various things without asking 🤣. ヤスベェHi Rafa papa 😀
Finally, summer sake is here 😀 😀
I have also marked Yamori's summer sake and thought I had to go to Sakai again, but I didn't know it was available within my walking range 😀.
I'll activate my GPS 😇 Rafa papaHi Yasubeyesan 😃
If you want to buy yamamori, I recommend Kimura Sake Shop 😁15 min walk from Yamamoto Morinomiya 🚶they have a good selection and if you buy sake, they give you mochi taro as a free gift🤣. えりりんRafa papa konbanhar (o´ omega`o)no~~
Mitsuya Cider
When I was a kid, I bought a case of bottles from a family with many children.
I remember it was too cold and cracked 😂.
I still can't even drink Yamori (º﹃º`) ワカ太Rafa papa, good morning 😃Mitsuya cider Yamori is my next target drink. ‼️ My parents also had Mitsuya cider when friends came over. I wish I could remember my childhood even with Yamori 😊. あおちゃんRafa, good evening 年.
Yamori🦎 Summer sake looks delicious!
It's not easy to buy in Kyoto 😰.
So it's cider😍.
In Fukui Prefecture, both Mitsuya Cider and Kirin Lemon are luxuries 😭 local Royal Sawayaka🍈 is 😭. Rafa papaGood morning Erin 😃
In the old days they used to be bottles 😁the corks would pop but never burst 😳Yamori🦎 is also an easy drink 😋. Rafa papaGood morning, Wakata 😃.
I can only drink Mitsuya cider on special occasions 🥲Kirin Lemon is so good I asked my mom to change it but she simply refused 😭This is the drink I want to drink in the hot midday during summer vacation🤣. Rafa papaGood morning, Ao-chan 😃
I don't drink much summer sake 🦎 but it was delicious and I would like to try others 😋I was not allowed to drink carbonated drinks when I was a kid because of the evil atmosphere 🥲I think Royal Sake is a good image 🤣. boukenI have wanted to try this sake for years, but could not buy it because it was sold out quickly and only one bottle was in stock. I wanted to see if I was an omatist because of the Sake-1 Grand Prix 😁.
The aroma is gorgeous and tastes like bananas and pears. Slightly effervescent? The lingering aroma is very fruity 😋.
Depending on the temperature range, it can be pineapple or a little nutty and complex.
I don't drink it myself, but the guy at the store recommended heating it up.
While I was on my way to buy this sake, Rafa informed me that a hard-to-find sake had arrived at a certain place 😳.
I had given up on the idea that only regulars could buy it, but with Rafa's help, I was able to purchase it 🥺.
I'll tell you about it another time 😊. ヒロGood evening, bouken 🌙
Thank you for drinking Tokyo's Ichi-Oshi👍Yamori: ❗️
I heard that unadjusted Omachi is only available nowadays, so it was nice timing.
Looking forward to your CI of the hard-to-find sake 😊. ワカ太Good evening, bouken 😃Yamori - I love it 👍❤️ I haven't had Omachi's yet, so I'll try it when I'm healthy enough to match the power of Omachi 😆 I'm jealous of your hard-to-find sake ✨. ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, bouken 😃.
Mr. Yamori! I can drink a little but I have to go to Tokyo to buy it so it's a precious sake! Omachi must be good too 🥹I want to drink it: ‼️
And precious sake from the strong Kansai Sake-no-wa support system 🤩I'm looking forward to it! Rafa papaGood morning bouken 😃
I was thinking of going to Ikushima-san to buy Yamori🦎 on that day 😁I'm glad you and bouken got the rare sake as a result😊I want to drink Yamori🦎 soon😋. boukenHi Hiro, good evening 😃.
I like Tamanjoho but it's hard to get so in Tokyo I like Yamamori the best 😁I'm glad to drink it since I haven't had a chance to every time 😆 I'll open the rare one at the next killi 😊. boukenGood evening, Mr. Wakata 😃.
I thought it would be nice to compare the two as they also sold 🦎 Omachi fire-brewed sake 😋.
I'm looking forward to drinking this hard-to-find sake. boukenJay & Nobby, good evening 😃.
Yamori is a little hard to buy 😔.
It's the only Yamori with different rice so it's a little different but it's a delicious sake 😋The hotline in Kansai is the best 🤗. boukenRafa Good evening😃Rafa you were also in the mode of wanting to drink Yamori🦎😁 I guess our hearts are in sync🤣Thank you so much for your help 🙏.
The sake gods are alive and well this year ✨ boukenI'll skip the tasting of Yamori and Ehime Ikkai since I've already posted them in the past, but next up is Li Bai.
I drank
Special Junmai
Gohyakumangoku from Shimane, 58% rice polishing ratio, Sake meter rating +4, No. 9 yeast, 15% alcohol by volume
This is a modest sake that seems to be good as a food sake. It seems light and dry, but has a gentle spiciness.
Orochi Special Junmai Dry Namaishu
The sake has a Sake meter of +7, and the other values are the same as those of the special junmai sake we drank earlier. It is said to be a raw sake with added water.
It claims to be dry and has a high Sake meter, but I didn't feel it to be that spicy. It is spicy, but not unpleasantly spicy.
Black rice brewed Hanaroh
Gohyakumangoku and ancient rice, 58% polished rice, flower yeast, Sake degree +1, Alcohol 15%.
It is made with yeast and ancient rice collected from peonies that bloom on an uninhabited island called Ma-jima.
The color is beautiful, like red wine. The taste is spicy with no sweetness at all.
We ended up buying the first one we tasted, Yamori. boukenI went to Ikushima Shoten because I wanted to buy Yamori.
I tasted not only Yamori, but also many other things!
It was the first sake brewed using the brewery's original yeast yeast yeast.
According to the brewery's SNS, it is an unfiltered unpasteurized sake.
According to the brewery's social networking site, the sake is supposed to be bottled raw only at Ikushima Shoten, instead of being fired and left for a few days before release!
As the store owner said, "It's spicy," it is quite spicy!
You can feel the acidity, but it is all taken away by the sharp impression of spiciness.
The rice is Yumegokochi, Sake meter value +1, Alcohol 16%, Yeast No.7.
It is hard to believe that it has a sake strength of 1.
If it were a little sweeter, I would have bought it. boukenThe one I bought after tasting it at Ikushima Shoten.
Slightly effervescent. Melon-like aroma and taste. Bitter and spicy in the latter half. When I tasted it, it tasted sweeter, so I wonder if it will taste sweeter after a while.
When I drank it again, it didn't feel spicy on the first day, but sweet and spicy.
After a few days, it tastes like cemedine. boukenTasted and purchased at Ikushima Shoten.
They said that they had received complaints in the past about the rice, which is only available in Tottori, and that they were not telling us the name of the rice.
It has a good sense of maturity, a rich sweetness like honey, and a beautiful acidity.
Kamerei has an image of being dry, but this is sweeter and more to my liking. A little nutty in the latter half 🤔.
According to the instagram of the store where I bought it, it is a sake that was aged at room temperature from the sake that arrived in March.
It's amazing that even though it's a raw sake, it doesn't fall apart at room temperature.
It's been over a week and it's getting sweeter and more to my liking. boukenI went to Ikushima Shoten and tasted various kinds of sake.
After tasting the Chokyu with the intention of buying it, I was offered a variety of other sweetened products.
The Omachi No. 1 yeast was their first release in 4 years.
It was rich and heavy, but it seemed light and easy to drink for a Tamagawa.
I also tasted Ehimeichikai, Hanagaki, and Kamerei (from Hiroshima), and eventually gave up on Chokyu and went home with Hanagaki and Kamerei 😅. boukenI bought it at Ikushima Shoten, which is rumored to allow visitors to come by car or motorcycle to smell the aroma alone. I bought it at Ikushima Shoten, which is rumored to have a shop where you can come by car or bike and just smell it.
I thought it might be Hachitan-Nishiki, but it turned out to be Hachitan-35 rice. It has a good amount of ginjo aroma. It has a peachy flavor. It has a clear and beautiful sweetness. A little bitterness at the end.
I can also taste citrus and grapefruit.
Personally, I prefer Shinomine's Rokumaru series to their regular products 😋.
After Ikushima Shoten, I wandered around Kamishinjo area and found a shopping street with a tattered roof 🤣.
Then I walked further and found a liquor store I didn't know about! I didn't go in though 🙄. Rafa papagood evening bouken😃
I went to Ikushima Shoten for the first time last time and it's nice 😆I drove there and experienced the tasting smell 🤣I've never had Rokumaru 😅Do you prefer it to the regular product or would you like to try it 😳⁉️ 😋. boukenHi Rafa, good evening 😃.
They are super proactive about tastings, so I recommend it for people who are worried about buying something out of the blue 😊When I visited, no one came to the store when I entered, and after a few minutes of talking to them, they finally came out 🤣. boukenI think I'm going to be addicted to the Rokumaru series because of its relatively strong aroma and sweetness 😁. しんじょうEvery time (Translated by.)
This is a great shopping district!
I didn't know about it, so thanks for the information.
I've never heard of sniffing before.
On the contrary, I'm tempted to lie and say I drove here and give it a try! ポンちゃんGood morning, bouken! ☀️
Rafa, you're the one who tasted it 🤣The information about the store and its vicinity is too interesting, I thought it was Shinomine 💦Rokumaru looks so good and easy to drink! I always enjoy walking around liquor stores 😆. boukenShinjo-san, thank you very much 🙋.
You don't have to lie to them, they'll encourage you to try tastings 😆 Almost none of the stores in the shopping district were open 😢. boukenHi Pon-chan!
I just wanted to add that there is a liquor store next to the Seirogan factory, so the area smells like Seirogan 😅Many stores don't carry Rokumaru, so I haven't had a chance to drink it, but I would like to try something else 😋. 唯々想い出シリーズ 銀花のあかり純米原酒生酒無濾過 boukenThe toji has been replaced and they are using a ferry for rice this year.
Fresh, sweet and sour, but complex. Is it lightly gassy? A portion of the proceeds will be donated to animal welfare😺🐶.
Overall, I'd say it's a light drink?
The label is emo. The summer label looks like something out of Boku no Natsuyasumi. boukenHirata Sake Brewery in Gifu. This is their first time.
Hida-no-Hana is a very dry sake with a +17 rating, and Hi-Sagi is a sweet sake with a gorgeous sweetness. They change the brand name according to the taste, don't they?
According to the description of the brewery, it is an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. The rice is Hidahomare.
The rice is Hidahomare, and it is brewed by a toji who used to work at Nanbata in Wakayama.
It seems that they started doing business with him after he moved to Minamikata because of the connection with Minamikata.
According to my neighbor's liquor store, the World's First Brewery in Minakata has been downsizing, and they said that the taste has changed since the toji changed and the sales person who used to come to the store is no longer there, so they quit doing business with them. It's kind of a sad story 😢 Well, I think I don't see Minakata any more than before 🤔.
I think you should at least put a note that it needs to be refrigerated if it's a draft sake.
I heard it's almost only sold directly, so I guess they're not very careful about that.
It's a little floral, light, and beautifully sweet. Apple-like fruitiness. It's a refreshingly light wine. takeshonI'm no longer bouken's first or something, it's horrible 🤣 I probably wouldn't buy it 🤣. boukenThere are a lot of sake I don't know about that I haven't tried either 😅.
I don't think it's the type of sake you like 💦 it's too light and halfway sweet 😁. boukenTasting at Ikushima Shoten in Suita. There are many nearest stations, but they are all a little far away from each other😅Kamishinjo and Aikawa area are closer.
It is one of the few Yamori distributors in the Kansai region. There are many brands that you can't find in other stores.
Tamagawa, Hanagaki, Yamamori, Senzuke, Drunken Heart, Kamerei (not Shinshu), Inanohana, Hida no Hana, Tadai, Tanzan, Ehime Ichikai, Nihon Shin, etc. They used to carry Biwa no Chouju, but they only had older BY sake, so I guess they quit carrying it? It is a rare store in Kansai that carries Kinshin as well, though not all the time.
This was my first time to try fire-brewed Yamori. It was a little expensive, so I bought it only because it was a little expensive.
If it had been freshly opened, would it have had a gaseous taste?
The guy at the store said it was good but he didn't like the price😅. JoeGood evening, bouken! Oh, this is an interesting restaurant. I see that you are a gecko, or okunokimi, fire-roasted. Clearly fruity, I agree 😊. boukenMr. Joe, good evening 🌃
A great and unique store with a great selection of products that they are willing to let you try 😊.
I buy my Yaamori here because I can taste it 🤗. Rafa papaHello bouken 😃
I don't know if they have a shop 😳⁉️I'll check it out and go there 😆. boukenHello Rafa 😃
We have a parking lot, so come on in! It's probably better if you don't have a car though 😅 as the store is super aggressive about tastings. boukenI tasted it and was impressed, so I bought it. This sake is made with vine rose yeast. There is almost no aroma, but it has a juicy sweet taste. In the latter half, the pungent taste comes with a thud. There is a little chemical feeling.
I've heard the name Li Bai, but I've only seen it at Yamaya or department store tasting sales. The shop where I bought it this time said they just started dealing with it in June. boukenThe taste of the rice and the fruity taste can be felt, but it is not too dense. A pleasant sourness. There is also a feeling of juicy melon. The rice is Matsuyama Mitsui. boukenIt has a tropical feel to it. boukenI bought it after tasting it because I think I've had it in the past but I don't remember it. It's a luxurious sake made with rare rice called Aisan and Kame-no-o. It's gorgeous, and it still has a sense of freshness to it because it was burned once. I feel most comfortable with this kind of sake. We will have to try other Mansaku-no-hana. boukenI bought it because I was impressed with the tasting. I heard that Ehime Ikkai's brand for the local market is Nihonshin. It has a thick and unique flavor. It's sweet, but it's not modern, it's classic. It has a sweetness that is a little like an aged sake. boukenMitsui Matsuyama and glutinous rice are used for hanging rice. boukenIt's better to soften up after a few days than the first day. boukenIt was brewed in August this year, but it's the one aged for a year. The sweetness and flavor are both strong and delicious. I don't know if it's a precise analogy, but the aroma is like a rice ball rice cracker. Is it closer to Mitarashi-dango? boukenI forgot to mention that this was also tasted at a liquor store. It's a different brand of sake from the Yamori brewery. I drank it outside and was very impressed with it. It was fruity and sweet. You can buy it elsewhere, so we didn't dare buy it. The rice is the same as in the Yamori brewery, Yatan Nishiki. What is the difference? Yeast? boukenHere's another tasting. I forgot to take a picture. It was too refreshing and not good enough for me personally... boukenFinally, I bought Mansaku no Hana and Tadao, Japanese Heart. boukenIn tasting. Fire once. I was considering buying this one too, but it was too refreshing than I thought, so I didn't. Would it be different if it was just after opening? boukenThe date of manufacture is listed as August of this year, but it's 3 years old and 28BY. boukenI got to taste it at the liquor store. I was going to buy this one, but it's a bit of a bad type with a strong sense of aging. boukenThe rice is Matsuyama Mitsui and the sake level is +12 boukenI thought it was more of a sour type mountain waste. I wonder if it's a sour type right after opening the package. boukenThat's another one that's been aging in the cellar. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
