This year, we were lucky enough to be able to purchase this bottle, which we were unable to purchase last year, so we immediately opened the bottle. Frankly speaking, this sake was even better than expected. I am not a big fan of summer sake, but this one had the dry, effervescent feeling of summer sake, and along with the cool, refreshing sensation, I could taste the delicious flavor of Yamadanishiki, which is different from Sharaku or Tenbi, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is also dry, so while it has the sweetness of Yamadanishiki, it does not have a sticky feel. We had it with broiled eel, and it matched the sweetness and spiciness of the eel sauce, making it a perfect food sake. This was the first time for me to try Nabeshima's Moon series, but I felt that Nabeshima is a quintessential sake, and I would very much like to try their other varieties.

This is the first time in about a year. This will be the first of four consecutive months of sales this season. My honest impression is that it is delicious! That is the only word I can use to describe it. Today, we compared it with Sharaku, which we opened the other day. Although there is a difference in the rice and polish, this Tenbi has a strong grape-like sweetness and a refreshing coolness that is unique to Tenbi. The third Akebi will be Aizan, and I am very much looking forward to seeing how delicious it will be. (Before that, we have the second Hiroshima Senbon-Nishiki in the pipeline.)

We were not able to drink it last year, but this year we were able to obtain it, so we opened a bottle with high expectations. My honest impression was that it was even better than expected. It was very mild on the palate, with a touch of sweetness from Aizan, but dry and not sticky, with a slight lingering aftertaste and a crisp finish. I felt it was the kind of sake that does not interfere with the meal, and as a food sake, it enhances the meal while making its own statement. I would definitely like to get this sake again next year.

It has been a while since I have had Nabeshima. The rice used was Akaban Omachi, a first for Nabeshima. I had previously had Akaban Oumachi from Sharaku and enjoyed it very much, so I opened the bottle with very high expectations. My impression was that it was as good as expected. It was completely different from the Yonotori that I opened the other day, with a strong sake flavor in a good sense, and the deliciousness of the rice was fully felt. It has no acidity, but is dry and crisp, making it a good sake to drink as a mid-meal drink.

We finished Kamerei today, so we opened a bottle of Shinmasa Yonotori from our stock. It was delicious, with the same wooden vat, acidity, and effervescence as usual. On a hot day like today, I think the relatively acidic Shinmasa series is perfect for me.

Kamerei is still delicious. This year's Hitogokochi Junmai Ginjo has a slightly stronger sweetness, but it is as clear and bubbly as ever, with an unmistakable taste. It is difficult to obtain these days, but we would like to keep it as a main brand for our family's drinking at home.

This is the first new bottle we have opened in a while. The last sogapé we tasted lost some of its freshness, perhaps because we let it sit too long, but this time, we kept it in moderation, so freshness prevails over complexity. On the first day, I felt a slight alcohol taste, but on the second day, the complexity characteristic of Sogape suddenly increased, and it became very tasty. I'm really looking forward to the flavor changes ahead!

It's been a while since I've had a Hana-yoso, and this is my first sakémai sake Musashi. My honest impression immediately after opening the bottle was that it was a pineapple. The aroma when you open the bottle is the same, but when you put it in your mouth, the impression of thick pineapple is very strong, and it is the most pineapple-like impression among all the Hana-yosuyu I have had so far. Compared to the Hayashi I had been drinking until the other day, it is the exact opposite. It has a strong flavor and a unique taste, so my impression is that it is a sake suitable for drinking in small sips.

A four-pack of Hayashi, which I had been curious about for some time, went on sale, so I immediately purchased a bottle and opened it today. My impression was that it was a clean, crisp sake that was distinctly different from the fruity sakes of the past. It is a perfect sake for a mealtime drink, and I felt that I would like to drink it while eating sushi.

I was able to purchase this bottle by chance and opened it immediately. I have had Genmai, Miyamanishiki, and Kinmonnishiki, but this one was my favorite type. It has the umami of rice, sweetness, a little bitterness, and a little fizziness as well. Today, I had it with simmered bamboo shoots, and it was a great match and delicious!

I had this one for the first time in almost a year or so. My impression was that it had a stronger pineapple flavor than last year's, and although it was mellow, it seemed richer. I also had the impression that this year's wine had a more pronounced sweetness and bitterness. Since we have recently had a series of sharp sakes, I was able to enjoy the lingering aftertaste and enjoy the taste from a different angle.

The bottle of Abe Junmai Daiginjo was opened. My first impression was that it was a very elegant sake. The taste of the rice is delicious and mellow, and the crispness is typical of Abe, which is enough to convince us that it is one of the best sake from Abe. Today's entrée was sashimi of tuna fatty tuna and tuna kama, and I was able to fully enjoy the sake's deliciousness without being overwhelmed by the richness of the fish.

I forgot to upload this one that I opened the day before yesterday. It has a slightly higher alcohol content (15%) than other Abee's, which may be why it has a slightly stronger alcoholic taste. However, it still has the crispness that is typical of Abe.

This will be my first instrument Masamune. My impression of the drink was that, due to the alcohol content of 12 degrees, it did not give me much of a sense of sake in the extreme. It had a slight sourness, a slight muscateliness, and in a good way, the alcohol was not assertive, making it very easy to drink, which explains why it is a popular sake. My wife says it is "like water," but I think that is an exaggeration.

Today, we opened this bottle, which has been aged for more than a year. The back of the bottle states that it was produced in February 2021, and that the quality guarantee period is June 30, 2021. We opened the bottle with a sense of foreboding, but as it turned out, the taste remained the same, but the freshness disappeared and the mellowness increased. Also, compared to the last time I drank it, I feel that the complexity of the flavor has been reduced, perhaps due to its age, and it has become a calmer sake. In terms of preference, I thought Sogape was best drunk fresh and on a hot day, without letting it sit too long.
