たろけん
Today, we opened a bottle of Saku from our stock for the first time in a while. This is the first Saku Omachi.
My honest impression is that it is a very full-bodied sake. The sweetness and the umami of the rice are assertive at first, and while the sweetness is a little dominant, it is dry and crisp without being sticky. It was a very tasty sake.
I have had many sakes from Saku's Sake Rice Series, and while they all bring out the individuality of the rice, they also produce the common taste of Saku, making them very satisfying and highly recommended.
