One night after the announcement of the results of the 2040 New Sake Competition, we have a daiginjo from one of the gold medal winning breweries, Oku no Matsu Shuzo. I'm very grateful for the reasonable price for a daiginjo 😆 The aroma is gorgeous, the taste is sweet and delicious, and there are no habits at all, so it's easy to drink👍.

Personally, I tend to look for something made from Fukushima rice if it's a Fukushima sake... but it's a rare Bizen Omachi 🌾 It has a nice aroma, a moderate sweetness, and a gentle acidity that is refreshing and goes well with slightly greasy food.

A delicious sake that can be served at room temperature, cold, or warmed up. It's been very cold here recently, and I've been drinking it warmed up every day since it was awarded the highest gold medal 🥇 in the 2021 National Warmed Sake Contest. It has a gorgeous, fluffy aroma of yume no kou. It's easy to drink, and even though I'm a novice at heating sake, I can easily finish a cup. It's good for warming you up☺️.
