I had to give up on fresh musubiko this year because of the poor salmon catch and the price hike, but I was lucky enough to get some off the shelf 😁.

There was a little tasting corner, so I enjoyed it after the hot spring!
First up was "Aizu Shikon.
Wood and kiwi like aroma.
Moist, banana and golden kiwi flavors. The spicy and acidic sharpness came later. It was easy to drink and was empty in no time👍.

I have had several different rice varieties and they all seem to be well balanced.
