This year's 18th bottle is Gassan Special Junmai Izumo from Shimane Prefecture.
I don't know what it is, the aroma is so strong, but the taste is delayed by a long time.
Junmai unfiltered unpasteurized sake aged in a subzero refrigerator. To be honest, I don't really understand the effect of the sub-zero temperature, but the aroma is gorgeous and it has a powerful fullness! That's what Hyogo Prefecture is all about.
It is said to be a good luck sake that brings happiness and prosperity for the year, and our regular liquor store saved it for us without saying anything. Thank you very much.
The mouthfeel is solidly spicy & sweet, but the aftertaste disappears too quickly. The aftertaste disappears too quickly. What I want to eat before the aroma disappears is Chikuzen-ni, I think.
The sword of Ishikawa.
A great peculiarity that lives up to its name! The strength is not half bad!
You need to grill the Momo Aristocrat (sauce) for this.
The aroma of the rice spreads out in a straightforward manner. Perhaps because the aftertaste recedes quickly, it is difficult to feel any peculiarity or characteristic even though it is pure rice wine.
It is best to drink it with light grilled fish.
The liquor store gave us a tasting bottle of Suzuki Shuzo's "Hideyoshi" to say "Thank you for everything. This one seems to go well with white fish sashimi. Delicious.
Because it's called "Junmai-shu, Ippongi", I imagined it would have a rough, muddy taste, but it's mellow and elegant, with a very clear aftertaste. It's a bit cheap, but I think it would go well with something like cod matsuba.
Nanbu Bijin's Junmai Ginjo as a nama sake. It has the flavor and sweetness of rice, but also has enough sharpness. I can enjoy it without any snacks, so it's already a staple food.
The pungent or bitter taste that lingers as an aftertaste is irresistible.
I'll have the rest with scallops, crabs, or other sashimi with a sweet and thick taste.
I can't believe it costs less than 1,000 yen at the supermarket. There is no unpleasantness peculiar to brewing alcohol, and it gives the impression that it goes well with poelee of white meat fish.
It looks like a wine.
It has a nice mouth feel and a very refreshing aftertaste. I've heard that the taste changes after the second day, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
