The last time I was in Shizuoka, I went to the Hana-no-Mai Sake Brewery and bought some!
Slightly schwarzy! Tastes like melon!
Hana-no-Mai, I tasted the whole thing and it all tastes like wine! It's like there's no cloying taste, but it doesn't have the gusto of sake, so I wonder if it's easier for women to drink?
I happened to discover a sake brewery near Ono Castle in Fukui, and when I checked it out, I immediately entered the store because it was a famous sake shop!
I went in immediately! It was a limited edition of 35 bottles, I think, and I bought it!
The taste had a strong impact, with a guttural sake taste, acidity, and a rough texture on the tongue! I had an image of Junmai Daiginjo being sweet. But there is not much sweetness! A sake that sake drinkers like!
I'm glad I changed my mind because it's not easy to do! The lady at the store only used the word "fruity"...lol!
I'm going to enjoy it!
Here's your New Year's Eve buddy!
DAN! It's a sake from Yamanashi!
It has a hint of sweetness and what I like to call "uli-like" flavor, which makes it a great match for food! For a junmai daiginjo, it's got a bit of a corner, and it's got a decent amount of spiciness to it too!
I'm a Mie Saku freak, and I've found another great sake! Thanks for the great sake!
I'm a Mie Saku freak and I've found another great sake!
I went on a trip to Shizuoka Prefecture and bought this!
The last one I drank was also Junmai Ginjo! The label is different this time, so it must be different, but I wonder if it's the same because it's junmai ginjo.
The last time I drank it, it was quite wine-like, but this one is dry, surprisingly so! Huh? I bought it thinking it must be wine-like, but what? Is it my physical condition?
It didn't have any sweetness to it, it had a pretty gutsy liquor mouthfeel!
I'm going to try it against Tanzan, the strongest dry wine so far.
The eighth one of the crop! The "divine ear"!
Fruity aroma, mellow mouthfeel!
I felt Aizan was a bit drier, but maybe that's because it's been aged longer? At any rate, both are delicious!
The best of the two! It tastes like God! (I don't know about that!)
If you can't drink this, you shouldn't drink sake...... It tastes that strong! (I don't know what the strongest taste is!)
Go buy some more!
I tasted some Kagoshima sake, a gift from a client! (Good thing I told you I like sake!)
The Kagoshima sake had a punch that sake lovers would love! It is not sweet, but a very strong and powerful drink, just like the sake! (I guess I have some preconceived notions ...... lol) Very good with food! There was food!
I will savor the Kagoshima sake, which is hard to drink! Thank you, customer! Thank you, Satsushu Masamune!
I bought this on a trip to Shizuoka.
The last one was a Junmai Ginjo, so this one was a little more expensive, a Junmai Daiginjo!
There is a hint of sweetness, but the spiciness is stronger for a junmai daiginjo, so I don't think it's a sake to drink by itself! I think it would go well with something strong in flavor! I wonder if it would taste different if it were chilled stiffly?
At any rate, can you feel the extent of Shizuoka's land? It was a gutsy sake!
I bought this bottle on a trip to Kyoto!
Originally an expensive sake, but I bought a mini size to try it out!
Good spread of smell when you add the booze!
The taste is not too sweet, but has a nice flavor in the mouth, and when you swallow it, the dry taste of Tanzan hits you with a zap!
I'm going to drink the mini-size one in small doses, as it's not something I can easily afford!
Is there a lot of clear and dry in Kyoto? I'll make love to you again!
I visited a store near Kiyosaburo Shimizu, the brewer of Saku, that sells a lot of Saku.
(I bought four bottles: ......)
First, I opened a bottle of new sake 2021!
The smell was of the usual crop!
The taste is very mellow!
When I sip it, it's very sweet and rich!
I thought there was no spiciness, but when I swallowed, I felt a crisp and sharp spiciness in my throat! Strange!
This is my seventh bottle! This is my seventh bottle of saku, and it's in my hall of fame!
The liquor store was very polite and taught me many things, and if there was one in my neighborhood, I would buy it at least once a month. ......
I'll be back to buy more when I travel!
Thank you, brewery! Thank you, liquor store! Thank you, Saku!
At a liquor store's event, the president of Azuchi Izumi was coming, so I slipped in at the last minute and was able to drink a variety of drinks from inexpensive to over 10,000 yen! Thank you, Mr. President!
Thank you, Mr. President! And I couldn't afford the 10,000 yen, so I bought something from ......4 that cost about 1,000 yen! Still expensive though: ......
It's not nearly as sweet, but it's gourd-like, and it's a clean, slightly spicy sake! It doesn't interfere with food, so it's great with rice! It's the kind of sake that makes you want to go for a quick drink with food that has a lot of flavor. ......
Thank you so much, Mr. President! I'll be going back to the liquor store as well.
I got this from a friend who went on a trip to Yamagata!
It's very refreshing to drink! As expected of a Daiginjo! But for a Junmai Daiginjo, it's not very sweet!
There is a refreshing feeling when you drink it, but gradually the flavor of the sake is amazing! The spiciness comes later, but it's only pleasant!
Yamagata is not easy to get to, so it's precious! I wonder if I should taste it and drink it... I can't... _(:3 ⌒)_
Bought it at the brewery's specialty store!
This is sure to be a hit with the ladies!
I mean, it's more like wine than sake!
Well, that may or may not be a good thing. ......
The alcohol content is less than 9 degrees, so even if you don't like sake, you can definitely drink it!
It's amazing that sake can have such a western taste and be made from rice!
Hananomai, a Shizuoka sake, also has a western flavor, but this one is more like wine!
It is not widely available, so if you find it, buy it! You can sometimes find it at Aeon, but it's not regular, and they run out quickly!
I bought this on a trip to Kyoto!
It's sweet with a hint of spiciness towards the end, but neither is overpowering, making it a great match for food!
It doesn't interfere with the food, but the sake makes its own statement!
I thought it would be an easy name for a souvenir for visitors to Kyoto, since it's in Arashiyama, but I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted good!
An acquaintance of mine bought me (or rather, ordered me to buy him ...... lol) this Miyagi sake, Yamatoden!
It smells nice and mellow!
When I drank it, I didn't feel much sweetness, but a lot of spiciness!
It's not very sweet, but it's very spicy! But there's no bitterness, and it has a dignified taste!
Thank you, my friend!
This is one of several bottles I bought on my recent trip to Kyoto!
This one is the driest of the bunch so far! It has a very strong sake feeling, no sweetness, but it's refreshing and easy to drink! The spiciness comes in the second half!
The spiciness comes in the second half! It's just like Kyoto! The sake has no extra sweetness, so it must go well with Kyoto's soup-based dishes! (I don't know!).
(I don't know!) Maybe it's a sake with no habits that goes well with everything! (I don't know!) Maybe it's a sake that goes well with everything!
I bought the original because I enjoyed the taste of the San'ya version. So I bought the original!
First of all, I was surprised to find out that it was very refreshing! It was almost as if it was carbonated!
Maybe it's because it's swirly, but it's not very sweet, and it's very crisp! Is it a little spicy compared to other dry players?
I think I like ......'s or yours better, sorry m(_COPY)m
This is the sixth kind of Zaku I've made!
We got the 2021 Aizan!
I also left some 2021 Yamadanishiki behind, but it's sweeter and less boozy than this! It's delicious!
Yamada-Nishiki is the drier of the two, so if you like dry sake, go for Yamada-Nishiki! For women, I think Aizan is better!
It's really delicious in every way!
Bought it at a brewery in Yamanashi! And the brewery tour was fun!
It's not very thick and the taste is crisp at the entrance! There is a hint of sweetness, but the aroma and spiciness of the sake comes later!
Fuji's delicious water gives it a depth that is hard to resist!
