Purchased at a liquor store in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture!
This is, of all the sake I've ever drunk, the most smoothly drinkable "sake close to water" ヾ(*´∀*) I want to repeat this!
It's easy to drink, recommended for women, and I can gulp it down ∠( ˙ ˙ )/ I found another good sake!
Today, I drank a bottle of Fukui's sake, Hakuryu, that's been lying dormant for years! ............ doesn't suit me _(:3 ⌒)_ whether I drink it by itself or with food, the sake is strong, or worse, "smelly" (sorry... ...) At best, it's a common, run-of-the-mill sake!
Because it's been two years? No matter how many times I drink it, it's still stinky, it's just not for me! I'll give it to my friend. ......(sorry)
My favorite Horai! I've had 5 different kinds with this one!
This one is the spiciest of all the Hourai's I've had, and the spiciest of all the Hourai's I've had! The fluffy smell of Hourai disappears in an instant and then comes the impact of dryness! That's the impact!
It's good for people who want to drink it hard, and it goes really well with food with a lot of flavor!
Thank you! Hourai! Thank you! Thank you, Watanabe Shuzo!
It's very easy to drink with just the right amount of booziness, and the fruit (peach? Is that an exaggeration?) It's also sweet! It doesn't have a robust sake feeling after drinking, but it's a very nice sake to drink on a hot day! I compared it to the cheapest version of Mie no Kanbai, which is the closest to water in my past, but it's the closest to water and the easiest to drink! This one is now the number one watery sake!
My favorite, Zaku! This is the fifth kind!
The ones I drank are not so different in terms of price, but from the lowest to the highest
Gennochi → Honochi → Keinochi → Yamadanishiki 2021 → Ganochi
So it's the fourth from the bottom!
The higher up you go, the more sweetness you get, like a melon from a cucumber, and it's really great that they all taste good despite the differences!
All of them are delicious, but after comparing them to Honochi, this one has a sweetness that comes from the moment you put it in your mouth! It's delicious! It's really delicious! I don't know if this is a precious bottle, but ...... thank you! I'll have to pay a visit to the brewery next time!
Bought this on a recommendation from a liquor store! Fresh sake that requires refrigeration! It's a fruity sake with a hint of smell! It tastes very fruity! The taste is very fruity! It's a bit darker and sweeter than the Mie's, but not too sweet, and it's got a nice crunch to it! This is a pretty good sake for the costumers out there!
Very good if you want to keep drinking this on its own while still feeling solidly comfortable! I think the label needs to be changed! Lol, it's not worth it because it's not very feminine. ...... lol
Smells like a solid alcoholic beverage, but it's got some flavor too! Tastes pretty good, watery in a good way, and can be drunk all by itself! It's a little dry and not nearly as sweet as it should be! It's versatile enough to be used with any dish, but it's not as impactful as it could be. ...... I think it's delicious!
As the name suggests, it smells like a celebratory drink! But what surprised me was the taste! There's a natural sweetness that's not habitual at first when you put it in your mouth, and it's easy to drink for a sake with such a strong smell! When you're done drinking it, the liquor sensation that passes through your nose isn't too harsh, making it easy to drink, just be careful not to overdo it! There are so many delicious sakes in Shizuoka too!
The aroma is fruity.
The taste is a little earthy, but the moment you drink it, you get a strong sense of alcohol, but after that, it's mellow, and in a good way (although it may sound forced), it's easy to drink without the middle sense of alcohol. You can keep drinking it without getting bored. The lower grade of Mie no Kanbai is close to water, so I want to make it fight next time! I'm going to have to say goodbye to this one as it's going to be gone soon ...... crying Thank you Shizuoka ......
It was recommended to me at one of our liquor stores and I bought some!
The smell is close to odorless, but it does have a twang to it! The sweetness is subdued, a little dry! The teeth will have a unique squeaky texture (I don't know what that means but ...... lol) After drinking, there is no alcohol in the center, but a thick weight of alcohol surrounding you (I don't know what that means but ...... lol) Even on its own I can drink it on its own, but it goes really well with Japanese food, no habits! Similar to Tamanomitsu from Hyogo, but this one is more expansive! (I don't know what that means but!)
It smells so sweet and good!
I drank it with my favorite sake from Mie, Zaku, and it had a more robust sweetness, a more robust liquor feel, and a more weighty aftertaste than Zaku, making it a very satisfying drink! It made me want to drink it in the winter with a kotatsu! LOL!
So glad I bought it! Thank you Shizuoka!
This one is less sweet and drier than the top ranked Hourai and Iriki sake! It may be easier to drink with sashimi or salty foods! The weight and smell of the sake lingers after you drink it, so drinking it by itself can be tough... but it's dry, so if you like it dry, it's good!
My personal opinion, I think I like the Iritonshu better! It's also a good value sake, less than 900 yen for a bottle!
But then again, I might just buy the Iritonshu... sorry _(:3 ⌒)_.
Smells nice and clean!
The taste has the sweetness of the higher ranked Hourai, but it's smooth, with the weight of the sake coming on strong later! It leaves a bit of sake in your mouth too! It can't surpass Hourai's deliciousness, but at less than 900 yen for a No.4 bottle, this taste inherited from Hourai has excellent cost performance! You can keep drinking it by itself! Yes, it's great! It's a must have!
It's not quirky, it's melon flavored, there's a hint of booze, but it's easy to drink and it's great with food or on its own! When I sip and savor it, it sometimes makes me choke on my nose with other drinks, but not this one! I don't know how to taste it, but I'm doing it pretentiously, but it's easy to drink and you'll find yourself drinking too much. ...... Oh, I feel good!
The third grade from the bottom of the crop? It is a little clearer than the second grade, and the smell is almost as fruity as both! As for the taste, Megumi's is sweeter! This one is more like a peach, and the one below is more like a melon! It's not too sweet, so it doesn't interfere with food, and it can be drunk on its own, so you guys are really versatile!
I've only had four different kinds of saku, and they're all delicious!
It's thick, it smells fruity! When you drink it, it has a complex taste, but it's as sweet as fruit wine, and it changes your whole concept of sake! However, when I bought crab in Fukui and drank it with it, I felt it was too sweet to go well with something salty like crab. ...... I thought it would be better to drink this sake as the star! It's a Fukui sake, but it fights with crab. ...... lol
I bought a three-year old sake!
The smell is like Narazuke, thick! The taste is thick like a western liquor, with a strong habit! It's like brandy, so I thought it would go well with something sweet, like chocolate, but I don't know, because I don't know brandy! I think it would be hard to drink on its own! Good thing it's a small amount ...... lol
Bought it to welcome Golden Week with a bang! Smells like wine! Very sweet and easy to drink! Rather than fruity sweetness, it's more like a rich honey sweetness! But the booziness is pretty strong too! While the triple crop is crisp and fruity, this one is thick and honey-like!
The second grade from the bottom of the crop (Zaku), Honochi!
I compared it to the lowest grade, Gennochi, and it's true that Honochi has a more rounded taste with the corners removed, but in the end they're both delicious! It's fruity and has a lot of fruit flavors, it's really delicious! Is it really sake?
Both Hourai and Zaku are really good! I want to keep this on hand forever!
