This sake was purchased in Gunma. Brewed in tank #67 at Makino Shuzo in Oosakizuki, it is said to be the best conditioned Junmai sake for the first half of 2025. The taste is fruity and full, like melon juice. But it's not too rich, so you won't get tired of drinking it. A good buy.
I went back home to Gunma and stocked up on local sake at my favorite liquor store. This is a limited trial sake for a sake show by the Yanagisawa Sake Brewery, known for its Yuijin sake. It is a very attractive sake with 35% Yamada-Nishiki polished rice, 18 degrees Celsius, and the yeast is not disclosed. I usually don't buy a bottle of this sake, but the owner strongly recommended it to me. It is my favorite type of sake, sweet and fresh with gas, but with a punch. It is so good that I think I will finish the bottle in no time.
After taking care of my pet snail, which is a holiday tradition, I spent the evening drinking in Kita-Akita. Reasonable and cosy sake for home 🍶.
I had it with a sake cup from Sawanoi-en of Ozawa Sake Brewery. I want to go back to Sawanoien.

It was my favorite fruity unfiltered raw sake! I drank it with high expectations, but was more than impressed. The ladies liked it too. As expected, the bottle ran out quickly😅.

This is the third time I've bought this beer, and the 18% alcohol content is perfect for the rich snacks. It was delicious.
Shinkame's raw sake. Alcohol 16.5%. It is thick and rich, but you will never get tired of drinking it. It seems to go well with all kinds of food.
By the way, we had meat and potatoes, seasonal sparkling firefly squid, cucumber with miso mayo, and boiled broccoli. It was delicious and I drank too much😆.
