I bought this at a brewery in Tsuwano.
Tsuwano is not large, but there are three breweries, and it is said that Hatsujin is the most famous. I tasted it, but it was a little sweet, so I went next door.
This one was a bit drier and more of a food sake.
We were also charmed by the store owner's love of sake, so we bought a bottle of hiyaoroshi. Since this is a tourist area, they have small bottles of hiyaoroshi as well.
The color is yellowish and the aroma has a strong sweetness of rice and koji malt.
It has a deep, traditional flavor. It goes well with Japanese food.
The alcohol content is 17 degrees, but it is not heavy and is a scary sake not to drink too much. ☺️.
