Kochi again.
I had a strong feeling that I was drinking sake. The oden (omakase) was delicious.
I usually don't want to have too many side dishes, but this sake tasted even better when paired with a gentle side dish.
On a trip to Kochi.
Sake made with CEL-19 yeast. A little more crisp and refreshing than the southern style. My favorite sake, fresh and a little bitter at the same time.
At a sake bar in Kochi, where I happened to be.
The balance is divine. No unpleasant taste at all from start to finish with a clean mouthfeel! They don't seem to brew Yamadanishiki that much. A wonderful encounter.
Sweet. It has the feeling of a noble sake, yet it is refreshing. It does not leave a lingering aftertaste, so it can be drunk on its own without a side dish. Even people who don't care for sake can enjoy it.
When in the mouth it is rather present and nice. Beautifully sweet. The taste is refreshing when swallowed. It's the kind that lingers and when I noticed it was gone.
The aftertaste is no longer watery and drinkable at it's finest!
It may have the least aftertaste of any sake I've ever had.
When it is in the mouth, the aroma is rather full, and I can taste the flavor.
