村上 佳祐We went to Isego Honten in Sendagi to get some sake.
We procured 5 bottles of sake such as Kouei Kiku and Shinshu Kameari.
I didn't think I'd end up drinking four of them that day...
The first sake I opened was Eiko Fuji's Summer Limited Edition Survival.
There must be a GLAY fan in the brewery, I'm sure!
It seems to be made from a sake rice called Tamanae (which I've never heard of).
I felt the alcohol was strong, but the taste was light, dry, and refreshing.
It is also good as a sake during meals.
We paired it with prawn tempura, sea urchin tofu (a salty, richly flavored dish that goes well with sake), and pickled eggplant, and it was delicious.
