Tomorrow is the Japan Derby, and today is the pre-event celebration! We drink Jikin, a sake suitable for the Derby. Jikin, which we found when we visited Ise Jingu Shrine. It is not too light, as is often the case with sweet and sour sake, and the aftertaste is good, with a slight sake and rice flavor. It doesn't match well with oily or fried foods. I paired it with lemon pickled bitter gourd and tokoroten, and it was perfect. I think a strange switch was turned on because of this.
