Hakkaisan has a wonderful deep umami and pungency without being overpowering. The special junmai sake is already a masterpiece, but this one is even clearer and more refined while maintaining the same depth of umami and pungency. No, it's good! No, that's why the perfection of the special junmai sake stands out... I'll buy this again when something good happens... lol!
Well, I have to work tomorrow, but I picked up some soaked kittobilo yesterday. Can't stop eating it! Today is Tatenogawa Junmai Daiginjo Seiryu. This is fruity. The clear and deep umami suddenly catches up with the fullness of the first taste! No doubt! A definite repeat!
I was able to go stock up for the first time in a while, so this is the sake that caught my eye. This is 1,100 yen without tax! That's too good! The acidity is light and clear. And the umami is perfectly balanced! I can recommend this one without question! Don't let the jackets stop you from buying it!
Today I'm going to try Hakkaisan, which is too famous for me to get my hands on. Yup! Sake with a fluffy, ricey flavor, which is typical of Hokkaido sake. The flavor is smooth and spreading, with a wonderfully clean finish! It is indeed good!
