It has been a long time since I drank the Colors series. First time for Cosmos. It has a characteristic white wine-like acidity and an example of wood vat aroma. Light sweetness, deliciousness, bitterness, and alcohol are well balanced, and the low alcohol content makes it easy to drink.

This is the third produced after Yamada-Nishiki and Effervescent. It has less sweetness and gassiness than the previous Sanso, and has a dry aftertaste. However, the refreshing sweetness and the lactic acidity typical of the sake's yeast yeast were addictive, and it was my favorite of all the San-Do bottles.

First time for me to shoot beauty. Since I was so happy, I opened a bottle for White Day. On the first day, I drank only the supernatant, but to be honest, it tasted like a sports drink + citrus, which was subtle. However, when mixed with lees, it adds sweetness and umami, and is very tasty with a well-balanced taste. I would love to try some of the other Imi, but there are not many distributors near me...

Kangiku drinking comparison. Then, the Sunny Day. It is quite similar to Red Diamond, with a more subdued aroma than that, and is also very tasty. I just hope it doesn't become a hard-to-find brand and that I can keep buying it.

Comparison of Kangiku. We started with Red Diamond. It has a stable sweet flavor and fruity aroma, and is naturally very tasty. What was surprising was the dryness that lingered at the end, which made it less clingy and made me want to take another sip.

This luxurious bottle is made from 100% Yamada-Nishiki grown in-house and polished to 40%. It has an elegant, plump flavor and sweetness, but when it goes down the throat, it gives the impression of being smooth and refreshing. I only wish there were a few more distributors in Tokyo.

Hanahayo Yauku Yamadanishiki Drinking Comparison Next, Junmai Daiginjo. This bottle can be considered the flagship of the Hanayo Yoku brand. Junmai Ginjo also had a rich sweetness and aroma, but it is much richer than that. I have had it several times and am always surprised by the taste, which is hard to believe that it is made from rice. Although pricey, this sake is worth drinking at least once.

Hanahayo Yauku Yamadanishiki Drinking Comparison Start with Junmai Ginjo Oorigarami. I like it a lot because it has a very well-balanced taste among the Hanayokyu brands. On the third day after the bottle was opened, the sweetness and gorgeous aroma became more intense, and I liked it even more. It may be the best junmai ginjo from Hanayokyu.

This is a rare bottle that is a mix of Araduki and Oshikiri. It has a sweet and fruity taste that is typical of Hououmita, but it is also very smooth, probably because it is highly polished. It was a great bottle in terms of cost and taste.

Sogape Drinking Comparison. Numérosis Domaine Ikeda of 2021BY. Both the aroma and taste of this wine are firmer and bluer than the 2020BY, but it feels fresh and tastes like new sake. Five days after opening the bottle, it tasted similar to 2020BY and was very good.

Sogape drinking comparison. First up was Numérosy's 2020 BY. Perhaps because we opened the bottle on Valentine's Day, the initial aroma was rich and bitter, like high-cocoa chocolate. In the mouth, it has a sweet acidity like a white wine, a very smooth mouthfeel, and finally a bitter taste just like the initial aroma. It was worth the one year wait.

Shinshu Kameari is gradually becoming difficult to obtain. On the first day, it seemed a little dry, which was also very tasty, but after the second day, it became sweeter and more delicious. The second day onwards, it became more sweet and tasty. It was a little milder and cleaner than Hitogokochi. With this sense of stability and balance, Shinshu Kameari may be the brand that I should really recommend to sake beginners.

A comparison of regional drinking. Then, Efervescents. It has a whiskey-like, barrel-aged aroma on the nose. On the palate, there is not much of a sake feel, and it tastes like grapefruit, but it is frustrating that I can't explain it well because it is a new taste for me. After a few days, the fizzy feeling settles down and the sweetness comes out, but it has a low alcohol content and a clean taste, so it is best when paired with Western food.

I didn't have a single photo... This is the well-known Hanayo-yoku. The basic taste is the usual Hanayo-yoku taste, with a slightly stronger bitter taste at the end. It may be easier to match with food than other types.

Hello! KOUEIGIKU's Aizan & Omachi Drinking Comparison From day one, the Omachi had a rich sweetness and citrus taste. However, it's low alcohol and easy to drink, so you can't stop drinking it. Personally, I prefer Omachi.

As the days go by, the hardness is removed and the taste becomes mellow and dense. The process after opening the bottle is one of the pleasures of Koenigiku.

My favorite Miya Kanbai. Fruity, fresh, rich, and above all, elegantly sweet. This elegant sweetness is probably the main reason why I like Miya Kanbai so much.
