Standing Sake Brewery "Tachinomifuku", a new spot where you can enjoy 🍶 drinking comparison within Hiroshima Prefecture, was established in Hiroshima Airport last month! This time we visited Kure and Takehara cities, so we chose their drinking comparison, "Hiroshima Tasting Sake Set (Sea)"! Representing three carefully selected brands from breweries on the sea side, Kure's Amego no Tsuki. Dry but with a slight sweetness, it is a definite pairing with Kure's famous Gansu! This restaurant is also available for individual orders, and you can also enjoy Takehara City's Taketsuru Sake Brewery, etc. How about this to end your trip to Hiroshima!
First visit to Kure City on a trip to Hiroshima. Purchased a cup of "Senpuku" sake from Kure's sake brewer Miyake Honten at Yume Town in front of the Yamato Museum. It is refreshing and easy to drink! For snacks, we picked up some curry rice crackers from the Navy! They are flavored to go well with 🍶.
Zukudase! Thank you for your contribution and participation in Sake of Shinshu! From me, the Lord, after a long time!
This is Hakuba Nishiki "Hyoujunshu" from Usui Shoten, a sake brewery in Omachi City. Hyakumei means "ice pillar standing upside down". It is brewed with glacial bamboo shoot water from Kurobe and has a refreshing taste!
Junmai Ginjo from Reijin, one of the five Suwa breweries. It has a clean and gentle taste. The blue bottle and the blue label are a landmark! Today, I paired it with a cut type ehomaki and an Okinawan pork-tamago onigiri!
Invited to my parents' house, I visited and paired it with Yamagata's Imoni, a Japanese sake from Yamagata called "Aradama".
A special junmai sake made from Yamagata Prefecture's sake rice, "Koudou Shinko"! A balance of cleanness and richness that is as good as thick taro stew... ♪
Snow Monkey" junmai nigori sake from Tamamura Honten, a sake brewery in Shiga Kogen in northern Shin. Found this nigori-zake the other day on the way back from a trip to see the monkey scenery in Jigokudani! Dry but easy to drink! And we love Shinshu's 🍶 so much that we have now founded a group! Zuku-dase! We are a group specializing in sake from Nagano Prefecture, called "Sake from Shinshu". We hope you will join us when you drink sake from Shinshu.
The second cup was MIYASAKA from Miyasaka Shuzo, one of the five Suwa breweries! MIYASAKA is a freshly squeezed, undiluted sake. The design on the label is said to be based on the number 7 yeast strain.
It's been a while since I've been to Matsumoto's Fuurin Kazan! This time, after seeing a private exhibition in Nakano City (illustrated by Bay Stars player Maki) and monkeys in Jigokudani in Yudanaka, we enjoyed our regular stay in Matsumoto! Yukimi" by Shigaizumi Sake Brewery in Nakano City, the hometown of Shugo Maki of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. It is a junmai ginjo nigori sake! It is a cloudy sake with a slight effervescence. It is a full-bodied, yet slightly effervescent sake that is easy to drink. This time, in connection with Maki, we served sashimi of sardines from Kanagawa Prefecture. We paired it with sashimi of Japanese anchovy from Kanagawa Prefecture.
The first one of the New Year was found at a rest area in Tenseien after watching the Hakone Ekiden. A balance of gentleness and flavor. On the menu was Tamanoren Tofu, made with water from the Tamanoren Waterfall that runs through the grounds, so I highly recommend this for a snack!
Standard Junmai sake from Tensei.
I warmed up the sake in the so-called microwave warming mode. I'm not sure if I should buy a sake warmer... I'm learning that the flavor changes when the sake is heated up.
One of Suwa's five breweries, Yokobue's hiyaoroshi changes its flavor depending on the temperature range! As a sake to be served with food, the taste changes too! This Masu is a Masu with the Gokura logo that was once used in the Gokura drinking tour, which was sold as dead stock at the same Gokura, Reijin.
Kanagawa's famous sake and oden restaurant "Teru" was born in Noge. We have a wide variety of famous Kanagawa sake breweries and maniacal brands! You can choose from Junmai, Junmai Ginjo, and Junmai Daiginjo. First, we enjoyed Hakonezan Junmai! It has been a while since I tasted Hakonezan. The refreshing taste is a good accompaniment to the Ekiden Road Relay Race.
This is a standard junmai sake from Reijin Shuzo, one of the five Suwa breweries. It is brewed with subterranean water from the Kirigamine Plateau and has a mellow taste, just like its name.
Junmai Ginjo with 7% alcohol produced by Maihime, one of the five Suwa breweries. Sweet and sour, sparkling sake! Tastes less sour than cider. A recommended bottle for a girls' party. Enjoy it with a glass of champagne. Tonight we paired it with macaroni au gratin!
Junmai Ginjyo Junmai Ginjyo Nama Storage Sake from Okaya brewery Toshimaya. The name is wintery, inspired by the Mikamiwatari of Lake Suwa, but it is a year-round product. It is a junmai-ginjo specializing in cold sake. This junmai ginjo is specially made for cold sake. It is made from 100% Hitogochiki produced in Nagano Prefecture. It has a gorgeous aroma and a sharp taste.
The main brand of Kumazawa Shuzo of Chigasaki, the brewer of the Yokohama Soul, which I drank before, is Tensei. Ginmochi Junmai. Unfiltered, fire-aged sake. Refreshing sweetness. The sharpness is less pronounced than that of Yokohama Hamamatama. Junmai, sweet and easy to drink.
The third glass was Kurosawa Junmai Ginjo Miyamanishiki Harazake from Minamisaku. I ordered it because I thought it would go well with a menu item I ordered with it called "Arima-ni" (horse meat stew). This sake has a vintage like wine. Mellow and crisp.
