It was a Teradomari limited edition. I am a sucker for limited editions, so I bought it. The sake was apparently Kinsei by Hokusetsu Shuzo. It is a refreshing everyday sake, as is typical of Niigata.
Rare sake given to me by my friend's mom who works part-time in the countryside. It's really good. The nigori sake's slight effervescence makes it even better. 🙋🏻♂️ I like the crisp feeling 👍
A souvenir from a trip to Nasu Highlands given to me by a junior colleague at work. It is easy to drink and tastes good only as a junmai daiginjo. It may have a bit of bitterness.
Finally opened the sake I received in March 🍶.
Smooth on the palate - stylish bottle too!
I thought it was going to be more robust! I was surprised at how gentle it was on the palate.
The moment you pour it into a sake cup, you can tell that it has a thick and mild taste.
It is sweet and has a high alcohol content. I got it at the sake brewery on my way back from Suhara ski resort. I was so happy to be able to buy it, as there were only a few bottles left and no employees were able to buy it.
