At home. First time in Gifu, Shirakawa-go. It's very thick, even among the nigorizake I've drunk. The aroma is like sweet sake. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness of the rice and grain, and the sourness. The texture is tart and leaves a little residue on the tongue, but it's not unpleasant. I think it is best served on the rocks.

Shikoku x Sake Country 2025 Sake Brewery Wonderland On Osaka① Entered the event for the first time in 6 years. The venue was the 9th floor Sky Hall of Kyocera Dome Osaka. Since 52 breweries in Shikoku were participating in the event, we couldn't visit all of them in 2.5 hours, so we decided to focus on the breweries we rarely see. As usual, Dr. Bouken was with us. First, we visited the booths of "Imakomachi" and "Yutaka" in Tokushima. ◉Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered A clean acidity and a full-bodied flavor. ◉Junmai Daiginjo, unfiltered The Junmai Daiginjo Mucho is a pure, polished, full-bodied, rich, and delicious wine. It was so good. The price was about 3300 yen including tax. ◉Yamansho Slightly dry and refreshing. Not too spicy. Imakomachi Daiginjo The most expensive. The standard, excellent quality, with a full-bodied, all-rounded taste. Not very impactful. In the Kansai region, Ohmune in Hyogo Prefecture seems to carry it on a spot basis. They can also send it to individuals by e-mail or phone.

Shikoku x Sake Country 2025 Sake Brewery Wonderland On Osaka - Shikoku's Sake and Food Spectacle - (1) Nemuchi and I participated in the Shikoku Sake event held at Kyocera Dome! There was no sake list like at Japanese Sake Fest or Sake-1 Grand Prix 🤔. We decided to focus on the breweries we hadn't seen before. We started with Imakomachi. It seems to be in the same area as Yoshimizu and Miyoshikiku, and Miyoshikiku has the same salad address, so they are neighbors! I referred to the official site for the specs. I drank Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Harazake Gohyakumangoku, 50% polished rice ratio It has a beautiful taste and is slightly sweet. It is fire-aged, but I also felt a sense of freshness. The sweetness and acidity were well balanced. Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Harajuku Yamadanishiki, 40% polished rice Fruity and sweet. I got the impression that Imakomachi is generally sweet. I bought it at Aeon while I went to see a movie today. It's the first time for me to drink it. This is 900ml, isn't it? I thought the shape of the bottle was different. I bought this Wakaba unfiltered sake in the summer and felt it was still young, so I let it sleep in the closet. It has a good balance of flavor, with the punch of unfiltered sake, but without losing the simple country feel of Wakaba. I put it in the closet again, but it was good enough. It's not Wakaba, but Higuchi Shinyo, a triple axel that is anything but rustic! The ROC is still very difficult, but I hope the Japanese will do their best to get on the podium!

You can enjoy the townscape with many places that still remain, such as the main lodge. Wisteria, azalea, and cherry blossoms were also in bloom. I bought this at a convenience store. A 1 gou PET bottle with a cap that turns into a cup. It's classic, tasty, refreshing, and slightly spicy. It goes down quickly and easily 😆. Next to it is a craft beer from Karuizawa! Fruity, refreshing and delicious 🍺.
