Next is the central "Amano-do" that caught my attention because it is brewed with black malted rice.
The aroma is similar to that of a refreshing type of shochu, reminding one of a sweet potato for a moment.
It is smooth on the palate, and has a bulky taste reminiscent of sweet potatoes.
Then, it has a powerful acidity and punch like white wine or shochu. It fades out as it goes, and while light, it was a delicious and satisfying drink ✨.

I was heading to KITTE Osaka for an event where I could sample Kochi sake... and on the way there, I stopped by.
Land of Water Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake
A fresh, dark, sweet, slightly chocolatey sake with a hint of chocolate in the mid-palate. The taste is not too pungent. This is my favorite type.
Junmai-shu ◉ Junmai-shu mellow and dry
17% alc. Sake meter +10.
It has a strong umami taste with a clean dry aftertaste. The tangy stimulation on the tongue lasts for a long time.
◉Amenodo Tokubetsu Junmai Sake Inami
The mouthfeel is refreshingly light and the rice flavor spreads gradually. The rice flavor is gradually spreading and the taste is mildly dry.
◉Amano-no-do Junmai Ginjo Hiyoroshi
A mild, but well balanced sake, with a mild, yet firm taste of rice flavor and a bitter aftertaste.
◉Amenado Junmai Daiginjo 45
Fruity sweet aroma with a good balance of umami and bitterness. Good balance of umami and bitterness.
The mannequin who served us this time was a familiar face, but it seems that Amano-no-do will not be coming to the event again for a while. The price of rice, the cost of living, and the cost of labor have made it difficult for them to come to the event.
