Today my wife is going to Umeda to celebrate my birthday.
We had lunch at Ishizuki, a handmade buckwheat noodle restaurant in Grand Front Osaka.
The waitress was kind and we had a pleasant lunch!
The third picture was brought to me by the waitress who guessed that I like Japanese sake!
So, what I had at Ishizuki was my first sake brewery, Asamai Shuzo's Amano-no-do!
This time it was Junmai Daiginjo 45!
Let's have it right away!
First, the aroma. It has a refreshing aroma with a hint of alcohol.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the refreshing alcohol taste and sweetness, and it finishes nicely with a full-bodied flavor.
There is also a sense of fruity flavor.
The lingering aftertaste is clean, gentle and slightly bitter, and it is very easy to drink.
It has a traditional sake taste, but also sweet and fruity, which is something I have not tasted recently, but it gives me a very beautiful impression.
When paired with a meal, it also showed a crisp expression, making it a very tasty sake!

I didn't drink it at the kaku-uchi. It was the first time I opened the bottle.

Love the back label “This sake is filled with that desire. Rice painstakingly grown by farmers is polished to 45%, and the sake is carefully pressed in an old-fashioned vat before being bottled using spring water from the brewery (Biwanuma Cold Spring).” As much as I like this, can’t imagine living in Akita, too cold.

I flinch for a moment when I hear that the temperature is 19 degrees, but I take it while drinking lots of soothing water. It is delicious! The alcohol is not so strong, and the flavor and aroma of rice and the crisp, dry taste are good.
