Today, I went to a local doctor's office for a follow-up on my gout.
During the medical interview, I was asked, "Do you still have pain?" He asked me "Do you still have pain?
"Thanks to your painkillers💊, the pain has subsided a lot. ✌️"
He said, "You said you were drinking, right?"
'The pain has subsided a lot, so I'm only going to drink a little.'
Can't you at least stop while you're in pain?"
"I'm only drinking a little bit in the boar cup.
You know alcohol is bad for gout, don't you? I don't care what happens to you!
I don't know what will happen to me!
I couldn't say I drank as much yesterday as I used to 🤣.
Well, the first day of summer vacation in August 🎈.
After visiting my father's grave, I was driving 🚙 to have lunch near Hanno station when I saw a big sign for "Tenranzan" 🪧.
I thought to myself, "By the way, Igarashi Sake Brewery is in Hanno City." I crossed a bridge and found a sake shop owned by the brewery ☺️
I braked and parked on the street and went inside, only Tenranzan series is sold here. ‼️
I really wish they had something special from Igarashi, but since I had come all this way, I decided to have a bottle to remember my visit.
The taste was good, but not great👍.
This is a souvenir from my husband's mountain climbing trip.
He stopped by Igarashi Sake Brewery on his way back from a trip to Izugatake in Okumusashi.
Cool and cute label🟦.
But it's 17 degrees of Yamahai Junmai. Not too difficult for me? and
I was a little afraid to try it 🙏.
It was chilled to a crisp, but very refreshing!
Delicious😊.
I usually drink sweet or light sake, so it felt very sake-like, but that's good too ✨.
I'll be enjoying this over the next few days 💕
I would love to drink Igarashi too: ❣️
Kuni, good morning: ☀️
A nice husband to stop by and give you a souvenir. ❣️Yamahai for a refreshing drink, the bottle looks refreshing and tasty😊I'm curious about Tenranzan since I haven't had it yet!
Hi Pon🤗
I like that it's a souvenir, sometimes it's a sake I wouldn't pick up myself 😊❣️
But you know, I wish I could have gone to Igarashi Sake Brewery too 😭 I'm so jealous 🤣.
Temperature Estimated 5°C
Taste 85
Color Nearly colorless yellow
Nose: Fruity and slightly sweet for a pure rice. The lingering aroma is a little heavy.
Taste: Pear-like sweetness on the palate with a crisp finish.
Overall impression: I remember drinking this recently. When I looked at the label, I found that it was made by the same brewer as the "Tokoroman" that I drink at home. Could it be that the contents are the same?
The fact that it is not very polished seems to be the selling point. It is very easy to drink, with a clean mouthfeel and aftertaste. It is good for the coming hot season. Also, the aroma and taste are not too assertive and do not interfere with food.
It is also good in terms of cost performance.
I bought it at the brewery because it is close to my house.
Wild vegetables brought back from back home.
The Japanese butterbur was cooked by my mother-in-law and served as kinpira.
Bracken is with mayonnaise.
Udo was mixed with sesame mayonnaise dressing.
Bamboo shoots were stir-fried with pork belly and Chinese spicy sauce.
The sake was made with Tenranzan Honjozo Nama Sake.
Smooth and easy to drink.
The sake we bought at the sake brewery's direct sale during the early part of the GW season has been consumed in this bottle.
We enjoyed it very much.
Good evening Rigel😊.
All spring wild vegetables are brought back from Niigata,
Spring wild vegetables may be the secret mainstay of Niigata's taste buds👍
This is also from Tenranzan, which was purchased at the Igarashi Sake Brewery in Hanno City.
It is a 300ml bottle of Junmai Ginjo Nama Shuzake.
Not fruity, but aromatic in a modest range, and light to drink.
I mixed sakekasu, which I got as a service at the direct sales place, with salted malted rice and prepared pickles again.
Cucumbers, carrots, and turnips.
It is not salty, but good with a hint of umami and flavor brought out.
Sakekasu has infinite possibilities to go well with sake, such as cream cheese pickled in sakekasu.
Sakekasu is an important item for devising new snacks and I would like to enjoy it with more emphasis in the future.
Hi Wakata😊.
Cream cheese with sake lees is a great snack with sake.
Cream cheese by itself goes well with sake, so it's handy to have it in the fridge.
I also recommend pickled vegetables.
I bought it at the Igarashi Sake Brewery.
A direct pumping of Tenranzan.
The bottle was opened with a very gassy pressure and was a schpon ❗️.
Muscat if we follow the brewer's comment.
Fresh and refreshing with a sense of effervescence.
Dark and delicious👍.
Good drunk alone.
Handmade Narazuke (pickles) from the sake brewery purchased at the direct sales place.
The cheese is also placed on the plate.
This is a very good sake.
The pickles are also tasty.
Today I went to Hanno city, a peaceful town in the mountains.
Nouninji Temple, a Zen temple of the Soto sect, is located at the foot of Mt.
I had actually visited Nouninji about 20 years ago during the season of autumn leaves, but it had been a long time since then. This time, I visited the main hall and saw the garden, which I thought was a hidden masterpiece in eastern Japan.
Hi Hiraccio, Hello, welcome. Did you climb Mt. It is quite scenic. It is a mountain made famous by an anime. I wish you could have done the Igarashi Gacha Gacha. I heard it was featured in "Nanikore Chin 100 Keiken".
Hi Nochi 😊
I climbed up Mt. Tenran👍It was a nice view ❗️
I saw a gacha at Igarashi Sake Brewery ❗️
I was very interested in it, but I didn't have 5 100 yen coins on hand 😅.
Good evening, Mr. Hiraccio.
Welcome to Hanno, the town I grew up in, although I don't live there now - lol!
This Naokumi is interesting for its strong sake quality, which is rare for Muscat aroma!
Hi flos_lingua_est 😊
Hanno is a nice city👍
Tenranzan (Igarashi) is also a good sake, and this straight kumi has a powerful richness and is delicious.
I would like to visit Hanno again.
Slightly flavored 50% polished Daiginjo. 180ml bottle.
Today I went to Hanno City with my family.
We hiked up Mt. Tenran, visited Nouninji Temple, and Moomin Valley Park.
We also passed by Seibo Gakuen High School.
I forced them to stop by the Igarashi Sake Brewery if possible.
We arrived at the Igarashi Sake Brewery.
First, we went to the brewery's nearby location to check out the exterior.
At the direct sales place, we bought five bottles.
The Daiginjo is not a "brewery exclusive," but I was thankful to find a 180 ml bottle.
Igarashi Shuzo has recently become more prominent, and I have more opportunities to drink it as an expected sake, but I would like to keep the original brand "Tenranzan" as a standard type of sake.
To be sure of tasting the standard brands, it is worth visiting the local sake brewery.
Now that we have a better feel for the scenery and atmosphere of Hanno and have confirmed the location of the brewery, we will be able to enjoy Tenranzan and Igarashi even more when we drink them in the future.
Good morning, Sashu 😊.
That's right.
The taste of sake has a lot to do with the local food culture and climate, and it's good to be able to picture the brewery and the local scenery when you go there👍.
We attended the Igarashi Sake Brewery's warehouse festival.
It was very crowded with locals and children attending.
There were long lines for free tastings, product sales, and paid tastings, and each line seemed to last about 30 minutes.
However, we got 3 sake tasting and bought 3 bottles of sake.
This is the limited Junmai Harazake from the tasting.
It's a nice little sake served at a local bar. The label looks like it is for a festival. It looks like it is for a festival.
There were many people with their children, and although it was crowded, the atmosphere was peaceful and local.
It was fun.
Good evening, Mr. Nochi! (^○^)
I'm glad you were able to participate in the warehouse festival.
I am so glad that the world has calmed down and you are now in an environment where you can enjoy fun things.
I'll be waiting for your updates on the sake you tasted and purchased!
Mr. Kumagai It was the first time in three years and it was a great success. The food stalls looked delicious and I wanted to eat a variety of food, but it was a little hard for one person. I should have invited my friend.

The free sake tasting was a limited edition sake from a brewery. Tenranzan is famous in the anime community for mountain climbers, but not so much for sake.
The basic taste is the same as Igarashi, but I don't think it has the same vibrancy. It is a Daiginjo, but it is not that refreshing.
