The acidity is well balanced by the umami taste.
The taste is clean and crisp from start to finish.
It is very easy to drink and does not interfere with meals.
The 10th Osaka Jizake Tenma Daijukai 202411
Booths in support of Hokuriku in Fukui, Toyama and Ishikawa Prefectures.
Two tickets will be donated to the disaster area, so drink and support.
Of the six brands from Fukui (Echizen Misaki), Toyama (Gen no Taki), and Ishikawa (Fukumitsuya, Yuho, Manzairaku, Tengu Mai), Gen no Taki was sold out.
Tasting of Echizenmisaki, which I had never had and was described as fruity in the description.
Echizen-misaki Honami Unfiltered Uncorked Sake.
Fruity, sweet and delicious, with a slight sake flavor. I have never seen sake rice Sakahomare before.
The booth was manned by women certified as sake tasters.
The name "Women Sake Tasters" has a strong impact 😁.
This was the end of my first visit to the Tenma Sake Festival.
I wish I could have gone first thing in the morning, because the sake I wanted to drink was sold out.
But I was happy to have been exposed to a variety of Osaka sake.
Tenma Taishukai 2024 (11)
A booth to support Hokuriku sake by a mysterious group called "Women's Sake Brewers' Army
Sake from three prefectures in the Hokuriku region was on display. 2 out of 3 tickets (150 yen per ticket) will be donated to the disaster area.
The lineup included Gen no Taki, Fukumitsuya, Youho, Manzairaku, Tengumai, and Echizen Misaki.
The Gen no Taki was already sold out, so we chose the Echizen Misaki, which was described as fruity, among the many dry wines!
It was indeed fruity and full-bodied.
It is an unfiltered sake, but I didn't feel much of its character.
What I did not drink at the event was
Rikyu Ume
Amano sake
Midori-ichi
Kurehaaru
I wanted to drink Kurehaaru's Tokugin, but it was sold out early...
I don't want to buy it because it's only available in one bottle, but I'm curious to see what it tastes like.
I passed on Amano Sake because all of their sake looked classic, but I wish they would bring some of their limited edition raw sake 🤔...
This event made me realize the high level of Akizuka and Katano Sakura and the greatness of Omachi 😁.
to be continued
Good morning bouken 😃
I don't drink much local alcohol even though I live in Osaka, so this was very informative 😌I would like to except the same event next year if it happens 😊I think I will forget next year 😁.
Hello bouken!
I also recognize in my mind that Mr. Menshuoh = "Echizen cape" and since he is Honami, I reacted with my favorite one 😁.
I'm curious about the "Kurehaun" tokugin 🤔.
Good evening, bouken. I'm sorry to Echizen-misaki for drinking and tasting sake to boost my business 😭Amano-sake- I'm so frustrated, I think I'll go to the brewery next time😅.
Hi Noodle-san ☀☀☀
I'm really jealous that you drink a lot of Echizen cape while you're in Hokkaido 😆 Do you have any fresh Hounami 😳?
Definitely a good one 🤣.
Hello Rafa ☀☀☀.
I'm not sure if there are any drinks you like as there were a lot of classic drinks 😅.
I'm sure someone will announce it on line if I forgot 😁.
Hi Gyve!
That's the image I have when I think of Cape Echizen too 😁.
I'd like to try Honami at home if possible 😋.
Kurehaaru is very popular in Kansai and some stores have pre-priced tokugin and daiginjo 😅.
Hello, Hirupeko.
No need to apologize to Cape Echizen like that💦.
I can't speak for myself since I didn't participate, but Amano sake seems to be very challenging 🤔...
There were many delicious sake breweries only 😁.
Echizenmisaki Tank Pressed Junmai Ginjo
Sesshu Tanabe Shuzo Co.
100% Gohyakumangoku from Fukui Prefecture
Fire-aged and enclosed in a bottle
Rice polishing ratio 55
Alcohol 16
Tastes like amazake
Sense of alcohol
The scent is understated 😉.
Soft and lush 🎵
Only super dry, the spiciness comes early ✨✨.
The aftertaste is so clean you wonder where it went 😲.
"Stalk Kaiser" → German for "strong emperor".
Went to my favorite restaurant with a coworker.
It was the first time I drank it and I quite liked the taste: 👍🏻
It's supposed to be very dry with a sake strength of +10, but it had a mellow taste with a hint of rice sweetness!
Very tasty 🥰.
