The last time I was in Ueda, it was past closing time and I couldn't stop by....
This time, I finally made it in time and bought a bottle of my long-cherished wish.
The cedar balls in the store were still brown,
The cedar balls in the store were still brown, but they had already been switched to new sake," he told me.
It is fun to hear such behind-the-scenes stories.
I had thought it was an "idolized, popular sake,
But when I tried it, my preconceived notions were completely reversed.
It is calm and easy to drink, yet has a strong umami flavor.
It was a bottle that quietly charmed me with its ability.
Shinshu Kamerei's Kinmonnishiki Junmai Ginjo "Limited to the brewery": ❣️
Soft and juicy on the palate.
The first part has a moderate sweetness of rice, followed by a fullness and umami that is typical of Kinmonishiki in the middle part of the bottle.
The acidity tightens up in the latter half, and the finish is gorgeous but crisp.
If we were to say sweetness/saltyness, it would be balanced between medium and slightly sweet.
It is neither too light nor too heavy. It is easy to drink, but has a strong presence.
Shinshu Kamerei's light nigori
It is a new sake with a fire-aged green label, limited to the brewery.
The top aroma is sweet with a hint of freshness of new sake.
Although it is fire-aged, there are slight bubbles in the pale cloudy glass.
It seems that this is the first time Shinshu Kamerei has released a light nigori, but unlike the clear sake Shinshu Kamerei, it is a bit dry and has a moderate sweetness and acidity.
The dryness of the most recent sake I drank was similar to that of Shimofuri Romain.
I think it is a little more refreshing 🤔.
By the way, just by looking at Sake-no-wa, there are a lot of people who came to buy the limited-edition sake, and the economic effect on Ueda and Nagano is amazing.
It's not such a big brewery, but Mr. Okazaki is doing his best to promote Ueda.
I wish some Akita and Kumamoto breweries would learn from him instead of just trying to make it rare.
The fourth picture is the turret gate at the east toraguchi of Ueda Castle.
It was an impregnable and splendid castle that made use of the river terrace of the Chikuma River.
I didn't know Shinshu Kamerei has a light nigori! I was wondering if it was their first time 😳
A certain brewery in Kumamoto seems to have a bad relationship with the sake brewers association and local liquor stores 🙄 even though they come to events in Tokyo. That's the kind of place I think you are 🤔.
That's what everyone says 🤔.
I don't know about that because I've only been in Shinshu Kamerei for a short time.
I don't know about that, but a certain brewery in 🧸 cut off a lot of distributors when they changed their brand 😅.
The first Shinshu Kamerei.
It has the freshness of a fresh, plump, fruity, and juicy sake. The sweetness of apple honey and pineapple-like sweetness and bitterness spreads in the mouth. The bitterness can be felt, but the sweetness prevails until the end. Fresh and juicy. The taste is fresh and juicy with a nice sharpness. Delicious.
Waiting for the bullet train at Ueda station on the way back from harvesting rice in the terraced rice paddies of Inakura as a sake rice owner in the kakawari group 🎵 delicious 🎵.
My wife and I got hooked on the Nagano trip, and when we went to Nagano, we got it to be a route we always stop by and buy ‼️
I'm so glad I did, because in Tokyo you have to wait in line to buy it.
Let's start with the aroma!
The aroma is sweet rice leaning aroma, didn't think it was too fruity 🤔.
Now for a sip: ‼️
The sweetness comes quickly, and the slight bitterness at the end erases it......or is it too much? The aftertaste is a little too sweet. But it's a high level of taste, so compared to other Shinshu Kamerei, I'm sure I'll be back for more.
Hi Yoshiyoshi-san 😃
We also drove to Nagano 🚙 last weekend and went to Okazaki-san on Saturday afternoon ‼️ and bought Green Label as well............................near miss?
