ましらのやまさんBrocken Splash
Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rice polishing ratio 70%, ALC 18%.
Aoki Shuzo Aisai City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan
This sake was also served on the rocks in a glass glass with ice on top 🤗.
Although diluted with ice, it has sourness and bitterness.
Quite a few unique summer sakes are being encountered for the first time tonight 😅.
For the closing sake, I chose Eikawa (Eisen: Junmai Ginjyo Nama-Shu), which I have encountered on 2022/9/16 [aluminum canned sake frozen at -17°C (-17°F)]. Since it was the first time for all the members except me to use Kurumaya, I introduced it as a unique sake....
We finished with a dish of salmon and salmon roe in oyako-chazuke (rice with salmon roe and salmon eggs).
Thank you very much for a very satisfying get-together.
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ましらのやまさんPackaged Sake Tankoba Kumi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Junmai Daiginjyo, fresh, raw sake made from Gohyakumangoku
Polishing ratio 50%, ALC 13% (original sake)
This is another low-alcohol junmai daiginjo-shu suitable for summer.
As the label says, it is a summer sake that is light and refreshing 😋.
Kurumaya is indeed a great place to have such a wide selection of summer sake... and we were all very excited to be able to drink it 🥳.
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ましらのやまさんSpecial Junmai-shu Wooden Oke Brewing Nama-shu⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
100% Sasanishiki
Polishing ratio 55%, ALC 15
The slight apple-like aroma and the scent of wooden vat is a preconceived notion because it says "wooden vat" 😅.
A little sourness and a refreshing taste 😍.
Kurumaya seems to have a good selection of summer sake 🥰.
Come to think of it, there are many different brands of rice in the rice section these days, but I don't think I've seen any [Sasanishiki] 💦.
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ましらのやまさんTOSHO
Junmai Ginjo-shu, once fired ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Polishing ratio 55%, ALC 16%.
This is a new brand of Sagara Shuzo, which brews Asahi Ei...but unfortunately I haven't met Asahi Ei 😅.
It is said to have a soft and soothing taste like "spring sunshine" 🤗.
Slightly dry and mild 😋.
The subtle aroma in the mouth is like a spring sunshine 🥰....
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ましらのやまさんJunmai Ginjo Genshu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Polishing ratio 60%, ALC 14%.
This is a brand of sake that was introduced on TV the other day. I was thinking that I would like to try it... and then I found it 🥰.
It has 14% alcohol content, so I guess it's a summer sake😅.
I thought it was not too sweet, smooth and not too tiring to drink 😋....
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ましらのやまさんJunmai Ginjo-shu Summer Sake Arashibi Mixing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Shirokuma Junmai Gin Summer Sake 100% Miyamanishiki
Yeast: Association 1801, Polishing ratio 55
ALC 15%, Sake degree +2.5 to +3.5
This sake is a blend of the rough runners and the blame (seme) parts 🧐.
The store staff explained, "This sake is served on the rocks with ice on top. We decided to enjoy it the way the sake taster suggested 🤩.
It has a subtle fruity aroma and a clean, crisp taste 😋.
There is a little bit of ori, but not as much as nigori 😄.
By the way, the polar bear picture is cool and nice 🥳🥰.
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ましらのやまさんJunmai Ginjo-shu KITASHIZUKU⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
100% Kitashizuku, Polishing ratio 50%.
ALC 16 degrees
It's a rather dry sake with a good body, but it tastes a bit peculiar 😅.
It's delicious, but it has a peculiar taste 😅.
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ましらのやまさんSNOW CRESCENT Unfiltered Nama Sake
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% Yuyamanishiki, Polishing ratio: undisclosed, ALC 14
This is the sixth get-together this month, which is inevitable since I plan to retire at the end of June, but I'm careful not to drink too much and hope to meet new brands and types of sake 💦.
Tonight's Kurumaya's recommended local sake menu is a parade of sake brands that I am encountering for the first time🥰.
First of all, I ordered the "bonito straw grill", which is not too much to say that I chose the restaurant for this dish... and for a different sashimi platter, I ordered the five-piece sashimi platter that I left to the restaurant. (Tuna red meat, medium fatty tuna, seared chicken grunt, seared barracuda, octopus...or was it (^◇^;)💦)
It was an easy-drinking, slightly sweet sake with a sukkiri taste and the unique schwashiness of nama sake. Light nigori (light nigori)... 😋.
There are various label types and sub-brands of Koei Kiku....
Hiratsuka Kurumaya: 20230623 ゆう🎶Mashira no Yama, also here 🤗
Was yesterday your retirement day? Thank you for your long time hard work 😊 Let's continue to enjoy Sake Life 🥂✨I had bonito grilled in Kochi and it was delicious 😋. ましらのやまさんThank you for your comment, Yu🎶. I successfully celebrated my retirement day on 6/30 and am traveling in Shikoku from 7/3 to 7/5 with a trio of fellow retirees. We plan to enjoy sake with a side of Dogo Onsen in Ehime, Konpira-gu Shrine in Kagawa, and the whirlpools of Tokushima 🥰. ゆう🎶Mashiranoyama, you are just now traveling ✈️ I would like to visit Shikoku too ❣️ I look forward to your review of sake🍶 & sightseeing in Ehime, Kagawa, Tokushima 😊 Enjoy your time with your friends ♬♬. りょRefreshing. Refreshing. More refreshing than sparkling wine. Cool. りょMy first kijoshu. It was delicious. りょHabitually sour taste.
Iidako Sashimi and りょLikes.
The freshness of orange. りょBrilliant ginjo aroma from the nose. Easy to understand, beautiful ginjo, good for a beginner like myself. りょAromatic at first. It finishes quickly. Seems to go well with the strong aroma. りょSoft. Not so sweet and refreshing, a nice greenness like a watermelon.
The end of a summer vacation that is running out.
Cooling down in the evening. Watermelon eaten at the edge りょRice feeling. Nice acidity bitter sourness.
Private to drink and feel. RecommendedContentsSectionView.title
