He mentioned that this was his first visit to Hanshin.
He came to Shinsaibashi Daimaru about 5 years ago (when it was the current Parco building) and drank several kinds of tasting and didn't buy.
I thought I would like to buy something if I saw them again, but I haven't seen them since then...
I heard they are the brewery that revived strong rice.
They brought three types of nama-zake (junmai ginjo, special junmai, and active nigori), and I tasted the other two and bought this one.
The aroma was muscat-like. It tasted like a Hakka-like tang and had a cool, muscat-like aftertaste. It has a unique flavor that I have never tasted before.
This is a Tottori sake, but it is not that spicy. It is dry though 😁.
When I bought it, the brewer said it was pressed yesterday. It was so fresh when I tasted it 😊.
Hello Manachy ☔.
I thought I'd seen the stock after you said that 🤣.
I think it's Chiyomusubi in terms of availability.
Inatahime is often seen in department stores, but it seems to be only in Kansai.
Thank you very much!
I didn't know Inabatsuru was here.
Inabatsuru has a lighter San-in color, doesn't it?
I love 50% pounded rice though it is not raw.
It certainly has an indescribable character!
I tasted it with Gojogawa Sakura when I bought it. It is said to be the base of sake that is aged at ice temperature.
The rice is said to be Aichi no Kaori and Yume Ginko.
It was delicious, but it was more mature than the sakura yeast.
I had my doubts but did not buy it. Thank you for the food.
Drinks at the Remote Off-line Meeting #2
I was torn between the timely Risshun Asa Shibori and this one, but I decided to go with this one because I was afraid I would miss the timing to open it.
I finally bought it, takeshon-san 😭
I've heard good things about it, but I finally bought it. It has a full-bodied flavor with a slight smokiness. Just the right amount of sweetness. I wonder if the unique flavor comes from the yeast? This is the best Isobeki I've ever had!
I don't think it will be coming to Kansai for a while, so I wonder if I can buy the limited edition one in March. I can only hope for one chance to get it in stock at a liquor store in Kobe.
You drank it like it was delicious 👍I bet it was a delicious explosion of flavor 😋The cherry yeast is delicious 👍Promote it because I want everyone to drink it too 👍
Good evening, takeshon 😃.
It's a unique type of taste and it seems to be addictive 😁I alternated it with Jishin 😊I told people in Kansai so I'm sure some of them will post more 😉.
It was a historic victory ⚽
I was so happy that Doan from Amagasaki scored a goal 😆.
Now it is DHC sake brewery.
Slightly fizzy and fruity. Sweet and tasty, with a bit of minerality. It tastes similar to Asakayousei, which is my personal favorite, but there are no distributors in Kansai, so I can only buy it when I come to Hanshin Department Store...
A little expensive, but that's the problem.
Other than that, Niigata in Umeda is sometimes stocked.
Hi bouken, 🌈
I did see Kayama at Hanshin department store❗️I had many refills of Kayama Jun Dai at Niigata Pon Shukan, it was full sweet and delicious 😋DHC Brewery, I quite like it 🎵.
Good evening, good evening 😃.
I think they probably have the blue bottles of Kayama's raw sake almost all year round 😊It's a rare place to buy it in the Kansai area. I got to sample a variety this time and overall it was fruity, sweet and delicious 😋.
At tasting. Fruity, sweet and mellow. It was sweeter and tastier than the raw sake, but it was more expensive, so I decided to buy the unfiltered raw sake directly from Kameguchi in Kayama.
Good morning, boukdn😄
I have tasted it too. It was delicious, sweet and spicy without any unpleasant taste. I gave it up because I had something else to buy 😅.
Good morning, Lutherthemi!
I've always been a fan of this brewery because of their sweet and tasty sake 😁Asakura was also there and I was curious but gave up this time 😭.
At the tasting. Junmai Daiginjo fire-aged Gohyakumangoku. It is mellow, sweet, and beautiful. It has the same label as the affordable unfiltered raw sake sold at Yamaya, but this one was more expensive at 3,300 yen.
Purchased at Hanshin Department Store and drank for the first time in nearly 4 years.
I heard that the brewery was damaged by the earthquake and they were forced to consign brewing to a third party. It seems that the bottling and adjustment are done by the brewery itself.
When I drank it before, it seemed a bit sweeter, more distinctive and fruity, but I wonder if it has an aged feel.
I got the impression that the sweetness is there, but the maturity and nuttiness are more pronounced.
If it tastes like it this time, it's better and easier to drink with soda.
I wonder if it's true that it's made by the Tatsumahonke Shuzo brewery of Shiraga?
I will try again to drink the alcoholic beverages I drank in the past.
Drinking it for the first time in three years. The ginjo aroma is fresh and gorgeous. It tastes like apples. The sweetness is followed by a spiciness that finishes nicely. The taste is more complex than that of regular otters.
It gives the impression of being fruity and dry. I feel that Otters is stronger than the impression I had when I first started drinking sake, and not as sweet as it says it is.
It used to have an expiration date on it, but now it doesn't.
Now I think I'd buy something else for that price...
After a few days, the spiciness stands out.
Good evening, Ponchan 😃
The price is very reasonable, so I had to think about it 😅I think it might be a good idea to try it again, as my tastes can change 🤗.
Hello bouken☆(*´ч`*)
I've only had otter once a long time ago, but it didn't leave much of an impression on me. Maybe I should try drinking it again... 🙄.
Good evening, Mr. Shieri 😃.
I had a vague impression of this drink myself, so I tried it again 😅It was the type of drink that tastes good but the taste changes a lot the next day 😑.
It's a classic taste, but quite sweet.
It has a high alcohol content, so it might be good on the rocks. It is a versatile type of sake that can be served cold or at room temperature, although it would probably be better heated.
The official website says it is a regular sake, although the rice polishing ratio is written on the bottle. Is it a normal sake with honjozo specs?
Tasted and purchased. Firmly sweet but refreshing. Maybe citrusy? Dangerous one because of the low alcohol content. I wish Shirobotan would release fresh sake.
It is sweet, but the alcohol taste is a little strong. I feel it is a bit strong.
I think it tastes better after about 2 days than when it is freshly opened, even though it is fire-aged. It is similar to the impression I had when I drank it at a tasting.
Good evening, bouken!
I didn't see any of the ones you mentioned earlier, but they look delicious! Hanshin department store, you do a lot of tasting and selling 😳‼
Good evening, Pon-chan 😀
Hanshin in Umeda has 3 sake breweries and 1 shochu brewery coming for tasting and selling on a weekly basis 😉 I think Hankyu had 4 breweries of sake alone 🙂.
The rice was given to them from a testing facility that has not yet been released to the public. They said they can serve it for 2200 for a bottle because they don't charge for the rice. They recommended it to me, but I can't afford a bottle😅.
I had to take a picture of it because I couldn't seem to find a picture of it even if I searched for it.
It tasted sweet and gentle.
I had a hard time deciding which one to buy because they were all delicious, but I decided to buy the light nigori (light nigori) and the top-sampling sake, which has excellent cost performance.
I have wondered for a while if Shirobotan makes any nama-zake. I've never seen it before.
From the instagram, it looks like the person who put the sake in the bottle was the president of the company.
Good evening, bouken🌠.
I've been a fan of Shirobotan since the Hankyu Sake Brewery Festival❣️I think this sake is very cost-effective👍✨I think you could only order a bottle of it at Hankyu💦.
Good evening, good evening.
They also offer packaged sake and it seems to be a standard sake in Hiroshima 😉 It's delicious but you won't find it outside of department stores 🤔I guess at this price you'll feel like you're paying a premium for a 4-goupe 😅.
Tasted this one too.
Beautiful, fruity and a little mellow.
I think I was allowed to drink almost all of the sake in the line.
The brewer told me that they don't make dry sake, so they don't like it when people ask for dry sake.
Good evening ( ・・・・・・・)
Give me a dry taste of everything! There are a lot of old men who say
Is Maruho Sake Shop in Kujo?
I'm in the neighborhood, I'll go check it out.
Good evening, Shinjo-san 😃.
I think you should let those old guys drink Echino Kanme or Kikumasamune (I'm not disrespecting the breweries I mentioned). Yes, it's the Kujo liquor store 😊.
They specialize in craft beer to the extent that they import directly themselves, so the lineup of local sake is a mystery 🤔I'm just saying, why don't you go there then 😅.
(I just looked at the official site from the instagram, and there are indeed Shinshu Kamerei, Yukino Kayasha, and Ryuriki in the images.
I'm going to see if it's not a waste of time.
I see you also have Snow Kayasha and Ryu-ryoku! I remember I saw some of the stories in the past about Senzuke and Hokusetsu. I think they also have a corner shop if you want to visit 😊.
Oh, you can see the Snow Kayasha and Ryuriki in the store photo on the official website 😅 There were also labels that looked like Yamaboshi and Kozutsumi!
Unfortunately, it's sold out, but they are handling it (...)
The store is not sending out the arrival.
Sake is really scarce.
Only Kozutsumi was well stocked for some reason!
Shinjo-san Thanks for the quick confirmation 🙇If there's not enough sake, it's hard to get in 😅If there's nothing good, I'll have to buy beer at random and go home 🍺.
This was also at the tasting. Gorgeous but a little thin? I thought.
I've never tasted rice called Yatan 35 before. I heard they use a yeast called "2021".
I was at the Hanshin Department Store and was able to sample a lot of Hakubotan's products. They were all delicious!
This is Junmai Ginjo Nakakumi.
It was refreshing, gorgeous, fruity, and delicious!
Good evening, good evening 😃.
I've had my eye on this one for a while now and it's even better than I thought it would be 😍White peony every one I drank was usually sweet 😁.
After a quick shopping at the brewery festival, we went to the Hanshin Department Store. The Kawai Sake Brewery is a rare visitor to Umeda. I sometimes visit the Kintetsu Department Store in Harukas, though.
They say it's sweet, but it's not as sweet as they say. There is sweetness, though. It has a slightly ripe, mild and gentle taste. Seems better with a meal than on its own. Chocolate, nutty and sour accents.
I also tasted a sake called Aya, which was said to be dry, but I think Aya might have been easier to drink.
I bought a bottle of Izuseio a few years ago, which was a raw, watered-down sake, but I think it was easier to drink than the raw sake.
But overall, this sake has a matured feel to it. I think they said they pressed it in winter or spring and let it sit.
It is sweeter and easier to drink than the first impression I had of it, but it is not a modern taste, so there may be different tastes. Seems to be good warmed up.
Toyokuni for a very long time. I didn't write it down, but they said it was bag-hung. It has a juicy flavor with a gentle sweetness that is very drinkable. This time I bought it at a tasting sale at a department store, but there are not many liquor stores in Kansai that carry it... Nakamura Sake-ten in Amagasaki or Youmeikan in Yokozutsumi?
It tastes sweeter when it is taken out of the refrigerator and brought to room temperature.
Good evening, Mr. Manachie.
I used to be able to buy it at Yodobashi Camera 😢It's true that there is a big gap between the label and the taste 🤣It seems like it should be more popular.
At a tasting at Hanshin Department Store. I was attracted by the bag pickup. It was tasty but a little chunky.
It's too cosy to buy a bag of wine for only 1,000 yen!
The Junmai Ginjo that Manachie-san was drinking before was more fruity, so I bought that one.
Rabenten is not often seen at liquor stores, but since it was at a department store, I bought it. The Yamadanishiki sake was sold out, so I chose Dewa Sanzan.
It is quite gorgeous and fruity. The second half is a little spicy, but it is easy to drink.
