This is what I got changed to fruity. Golden wedding of Kanda local Toshimaya. This brewery, famous for its yamori, had a warehouse in Kanda in the Edo period. Now they have a factory in Higashimurayama, but they have a direct sales store in Kanda. It is delicious.
Today I have a drink with a friend from work. When we came to Kibana, we decided to order the sake tasting set. There was a selection of dry sake, so I had one of them be a fruity type. This one was dry, but tasty and refreshing.
The last one was Nagano sake. This is also a first for me. The label is gorgeous. I forgot what it tasted like. I need to review it. After that, we each ordered one drink of our choice. I had the Wada Ryu Tosui.
The second drink was at a local Tokyo restaurant, Kinshin. I had a drink at this restaurant before. Different specs, though. This one is delicious with food.
A drinking party with people who have helped me in my work. I chose to leave the sake tasting set to him, and he decided to choose from among six bottles. I chose these three. I started with Chiba's Fudo. I think this was the first time for me to drink Black Label. It was a bit light, wasn't it?
Continue with the nama-shu. Easy to drink, but the acidity comes through, and the aroma and bitterness give it a kick. It is very good. I used to sit next to the president of Wadaryu at this restaurant. He often comes here when he comes to Tokyo. Since then, I have come to drink it often.
The second and third cups of Wadaryu followed. The first was the hiyaoroshi, the middle one. It is easy to drink, but the aftertaste is clean and sharp. This one is softer.
When I peeked into the restaurant, the counter was unusually empty. I took a chance and went through the gate, even though it was Monday. I leave it to him. The first sake is a Kinshin by Toshimaya, which also has a store in Kanda. The mouthfeel is sweet and delicious with a full-bodied flavor, but the acidity and bitterness make it refreshing and clean. The Hachitan-Nishiki has a strong acidity and a clean finish.
The second drink was my first. I realize now that this was not Nagano. I wonder if I had ever had sake from Kagawa. Sorry, I forgot what it tasted like.
