The last event at Komenohana was Nabeshima by Tomikuchiyo Shuzo. This time it was New Moon. I was going to drink 4 cups at Komenohana and then drink Akabu at home, but I was tempted and drank one more cup, so I had to adjust my post and put this one off 💧. I'll get back on track and review. First, the aroma. It smells fresh? In the mouth, the sweet and umami taste is great~! The middle part is a gradation of bitterness and spiciness that I don't mind, and it is still a stable delicious nabe-sama. The umami of this "Nabesama" is too good to be true in my opinion. It was too delicious. I would like to visit again. By the way, even though I thought I would only have one bottle here today, I took home Nabesama's Yamadanishiki, Kame no Kai's Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu, and Akanesasu's Sparling on my way home. We planned to reduce the amount of sake in spite of the cellar being full, but there were too many delicious sakes to reduce it.

The fourth drink at Komenohana was the Kankoume Owl by Kankoume Shuzo. I have always enjoyed sake from Mie Prefecture, but this was a sake I had not had much of a chance to encounter, so I decided to try it. So, let's have it right away. First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. In the mouth, it is quite rich with sweetness and umami. After it finishes, the bitterness spreads slowly, so I think it is a sweet sake, but it is not too sweet, and yet it is a delicious sake with a strong umami taste. It was an evening that made me realize that this is a really good restaurant, and that sometimes it is a good time to visit a new restaurant and have a tanten (a drink).

The third sake at Komenohana was Hououmida Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake by Kobayashi Shuzo. I have had several Hououmida's this year, and all of them were delicious, so I am looking forward to this one. So, let's have it right away. First, the aroma. Does it have a fresh aroma? In the mouth, you can feel a slight sweetness from the strong umami bitterness. The lingering taste is a gentle bitterness, and the balance is as always excellent. Along with the sweetness, there is a slight citrus acidity that gives the taste a gradation of flavors and depth. I thought it was a really delicious sake with a sweet flavor.

The second drink at Komenohana will be the first sake from the brewery. Beau Michelle by Banno Sake Brewery. This is another sake that I had been curious about but hadn't had a chance to drink yet. I will have it right away. First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong. When you put it in your mouth, it is very fruity. The lingering citrus acidity is irresistible. If it were served in a glass without any information, you wouldn't know it was sake, would you? The fruity flavor comes out in full force. You can't taste any bitterness or pungency. It is a delicious sake that can be drunk easily. Sake is really interesting.

Today, I had a happy miscalculation and went to pick up a bottle of Jigokino-nigori, which I had thought had not been selected, when I received a notice that it had been selected. So, I went to a restaurant that I had wanted to visit for a long time. I went to Komenohana. This shop has both a sales and a bar, and since I had made a reservation at 5:00 p.m. for the food and drink, I looked around for some good sake to drink until then. The lineup was very interesting: Kame no Kai, Nabeshima, Nisato, Houou Mita, Chiebijin, Shichida, and so on. There were so many sakes I wanted to try that I bought three bottles after eating and drinking. The first sake at the restaurant was one that I had longed for! Tsuchiya Sake Brewery's Kame no Umi. This time, it was sunset or sunset. I am quite excited to finally be able to drink Kame no Umi. I'm going to have it right away. First, the aroma. It has a sweet aroma. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the gentle sake flavor from the clean mouthfeel. Then, sweetness, slight bitterness, and a little bit of saltiness. It is delicious. The aftertaste is again a gentle sweetness and umami. I have the impression that it is a very beautiful sake. This moment when I could drink the sake I wanted to drink - it was an unforgettable blissful time.
