The first sake I've had in a while is a Kiku-Masamune gin-pack that was on sale at a discount at the drugstore. Sweet! I thought it was sweet, but it was described as slightly dry and light. The feeling of drinking it was a little refreshingly sweet and refreshing in a good way, leaving nothing behind. Today, I had it with yellowtail. Don't be fooled by the packaged sake. I highly recommend it!

The flavor is a moderate ginjo aroma, and as soon as you take a sip, the gorgeous aroma fills your mouth and disappears quickly and easily. This is a rare junmai ginjo sake. It has a mellow flavor and is a sake that is complete on its own. It seems to go well with anything, but at this time of year, it goes well with sea cucumber vinegar.

Finished sake. Looks good after a meal rather than during. Even though it is a ginjo, it is a habitual sake with a strong flavor. The first sip tastes like apples (personal opinion). Not only as an after-dinner drink, but also, surprisingly. It also went well with snacks (on this day, Vermont Curry flavored Tongari Corn).

We went to Sagan Sake Brewery in Tenma, Osaka. I asked for a dry sake. It was a delicious sake with sweetness in the dry taste, but it flowed like water. But, it was not so bad, two one-bottle servings A medium bottle of sake A sake bottle cost a whopping 5,000 yen. Hmmm...

I myself do not like sweet sake, so I put an ice cube in the sake cup and drank it. I think it became easier to drink even for those who do not like sweet sake. I was able to enjoy it. This time I paired it with grilled yellowtail kama and it was great.

The description in the photo says "Halloween specs, but it is probably [spring specs]. The aroma is strawberry in the distance. The taste is of strawberry packets. In short, it tastes faintly of strawberries. After the sweetness, there is a soft sourness that spreads quickly. This was a sake I would enjoy as an after-dinner drink rather than with a meal 🍶.

It's called a bomb, and the first bite is an explosion in the mouth💥. The spiciness is complete with sweetness and umami. If I had to choose a snack to go with it, I would have to say that the spicy island rakkyo with soy sauce and bonito sauce would go perfectly with it.

Today the location is a secret tavern. It's called Harushika First Tank, and they say you have to make a reservation to get it. It is super dry but has a mellow taste. Please read the label for details (I may have taken a bad picture 🙇‍♀️) It goes well with albacore tempura. It goes better with rich food than light food.

Sake made jointly by four breweries in Yamagata Prefecture. Junmai Ginjo-shu, brewed with 100% Yamagata Prefecture's Izuwasanzu. Polishing ratio 50%, 15% alc. Producer Otokoyama Shuzo Co. 4 breweries Otokoyama Toko, Tatenogawa, Yamagata Masamune A smooth, non-habit-forming sake with a delicious flavor that goes down the throat easily 🍶. By the way, "becchora" on the label means pickles. See the back of the label for details.
