I bought this sake because it was on the shelf, but it was not to my liking. It was a little too long in storage, but the flavor was light and punchless. It was not a sake that I would use regularly for hot sake.
When heated, it has a vanilla-like flavor similar to that of Shinkame. The well-balanced mouthfeel is mild, unlike its appearance (brownish color), making it a good choice for those looking for something a little different in a heated sake.
As I wrote last time, I think this is a drink in the extreme north in a way, but I guess it doesn't have to be this way. I really wish it would stop feeling like it's rubbing up against wine, but other than that, it's unquestionably well-balanced and delicious!
I remember buying it a year ago and raving about it. I wasn't as impressed this time, but it's definitely a good sake. I think it swung from light to a little heavy.
The carbonation was not great, but the robust flavor was sufficient. It is a sake to be savored.
I would prefer it to be a little lighter, but it is a fine sake with a strong alcohol content.
It was introduced to me as a refreshing sake, but it seems a bit light when drunk chilled. It is a little different from my taste for a refreshing sake. However, the more it is heated up, the more it shows its true value, and the vanilla smell of Shinkame also comes out a little.
Kaze no Mori has so many varieties that it is difficult to choose the right one, especially when it comes to this kind of slightly effervescent sake.
It is refreshing and has a gorgeous taste, but not too much. I will buy it again if it is available again!
This is a regular Junmai.
Some people may find it a little sweet, but for me, it is delicious. This sake is perfect for daily use, and one gou is enough to satisfy me.
Tasake, a really chunky name but a wonderful sake. I don't remember much about this one, as it was taken by a child, but it is a refreshing, modern sake, a good sake with a refreshing, deep flavor.
I had it in a ratio of about 7 heated and 3 chilled. I think there are better sake dedicated to heating sake, so I think it would be a waste for Kuheiji. It has richness and umami, but perhaps other types of sake would be easier to say it is the best sake.
Souvenir Series There was another bottle, but I didn't take a picture of it. This one has a mild but nice aroma for a Kurogyu Daiginjo. The taste is not too sharp, so I would like to use it regularly, but I guess there are cheaper sake for that!
The aroma is thin, and it smells like sake.
I bought it at a remote store in Shimokita Peninsula, Aomori. But it is more than enough for a nightcap at the hotel.
But it is more than enough for a nightcap at the hotel. 300cc for less than 500 yen is a good deal!
