A limited edition sake sold only during the February festival at the brewery Ippongi. The aroma has a hint of alcohol, a sweet melon-like aroma, and a clean, fruity flavor. It has a sweet and bitter taste, and is quite easy to drink despite its 21% alcohol content. The slight effervescence and bitterness give it a nice sharpness, and you don't feel any unpleasant alcohol taste.

This sake is sold exclusively at the KURORYU ESHIKOTO store. I was attracted by its appearance and bought a packet. Fruity aroma with a gentle sweetness. You can feel a little bit of a tang at the pouring stage. It is very easy to drink thanks to its refreshing impression, not too sweet, and a slight bitterness. It is so easy to drink that if you are careless, you may end up guzzling it down.

Fuku Kikuyu by Tsubosan Shuzo in Fukui Prefecture. The brewer was very cheerful and easy to deal with. He told us that most of his sake is sold wholesale and is rarely available except for order sales. He told us to drink it at room temperature or warmed. At room temperature, it has a clean rice aroma, and the aroma disappears without leaving any residue. The sweetness of the rice, which is felt through the aroma, is also felt, as well as a watery sweetness. There is almost no aftertaste, and the aftertaste is clean. Very easy to drink. When lukewarm, the aroma has a slight acidity. The taste is clear, with a slight tanginess at the mouth and down the throat. I prefer it warmed!
