From the blue Machida Shuzo comes the green Machida Shuzo. Green is 100% Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture, 55% polished rice, -1% sake.
It is light, refreshing, and gorgeous. A very drinkable type of sake.
First non-Gunma sake in a long time.
The sweetness comes first, followed by a sharp tingling sensation at the throat. It's a good feeling.
The blue one is supposed to come out after the red one.

When I asked the owner of Iwase Sake Shop to give me a sake that would go well with my wine-loving wife, he recommended this one for sure.

It was recommended to me by a lady at Iwase Sake Shop who said it had a nice aroma. When drinking only the supernatant, it has a youthful flavor with strength that remains firmly in the mouth.
The second glass, after mixing all the ingredients, has a sweetness unique to unfiltered sake. It might go well as an aperitif. Just right with a strong entrée like pumpkin stew.
The third cup of sake came out with the request for a heavy one. It was a good one, with the flavor of old-fashioned sake, but with a refined taste, not too heavy.
I asked for a second cup of "karaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! It's good because the straight taste, which seems to be super dry, doesn't have any stinging irritation.
