It was recommended to me by a lady at Iwase Sake Shop who said it had a nice aroma. When drinking only the supernatant, it has a youthful flavor with strength that remains firmly in the mouth.
The second glass, after mixing all the ingredients, has a sweetness unique to unfiltered sake. It might go well as an aperitif. Just right with a strong entrée like pumpkin stew.
