This is a Sado sake made in a school warehouse that used a closed school. Even locals are not familiar with this sake, but I was curious about it, so I bought it. When the bottle was opened, it sounded like a shupon (we call all shwashuwas in our family "shupon" lol), and the slight carbonation gave it a light feeling as it went down your throat. I think the aroma was only faintly perceptible.

This one on the left is Yamagata Masamune's Omachi. Sake with "Masamune" in the name seems to have a high probability of being tasty. I think it has a gorgeous aroma and is easy to drink.

This one on the right in the photo is Inazo by Yamagata Masamune, one of a two-bottle set we got with our Furusato tax payment. This one was a more relaxed and flavorful food sake compared to the other one.

We were into sake brewed with glutinous rice for a while and purchased this sake with the sole purpose of using glutinous rice. The taste memory was disappointing as it was far from our taste, but from the way it smelled and tasted, I now think that it would have been more aromatic and tasty if it were heated up. If you don't like the smell of brewed alcohol, this sake is not for you.

This sake on the left in the photo was also purchased in the Joetsu area. As you can see from the refill, this sake has a little sweetness that we like, a gorgeous aroma, a deep richness, and a clean taste with a lingering aftertaste. Since it is not available in our hometown, we would like to return to your hometown and pay tax again.

I bought this sake on the right side of the photo as a souvenir when I visited the Joetsu area in Niigata Prefecture. According to the owner, this sake is delicious both chilled and heated. I have not tried it heated as I prefer to drink it chilled, but I think it is a medium-bodied sake with a good flavor.

This is the first Rokuroji I ever drank. It is a highly repeatable sake that I always come back to after trying other labels. The aroma is gorgeous, the taste is sweet and easy to drink, yet it has a rich flavor. It is a luxurious sake that has no unpleasant taste, so you can enjoy the lingering aftertaste for a long time.

I bought this one because a senior colleague at work introduced it to me as a recommended sake. I think it was dry and had a heavy flavor. I'm sorry to say that it wasn't really my cup of tea.

This is also one half of a two-bottle set of sake that I got through the Furusato tax payment. This one is dry, clear, and has no aftertaste, just like Niigata sake, and I loved it as a food sake. I recommend drinking it in early spring because it was the best match with firefly squid.

This is a sake that we got through our hometown tax payment. It has a sweet fruity aroma and the perfect amount of richness. It was a set of two one-bottle bottles, so it took some time to finish it, but from the time it was sealed until the second half of the bottle, it was delicious without any drop in flavor.

This is a representative brand of Kamo Nishiki sake available in the prefecture. It is made with a dry taste to match the light and dry sake characteristic of Niigata Prefecture. My current preference is for mellow, umami-guchi or sweet sake, so I would like to see a sake with such flavors sold as well.

This is the sake I bought when I first tried the purple label (Junmai Daiginjo) Rokuroji and fell in love with it, and wanted to try the other labels. The black label is characterized by a bold throat and a relatively strong flavor, but it has a slightly rough impression, and you can taste complex flavors such as sourness, bitterness, and spiciness, so it is a sake that can be liked or disliked.

This is a PB brand of sake produced by a certain liquor store in the Chuetsu area and Kawachu Sake Brewery. I don't really like Sotenbo, but I remember that this brand was much better. The aroma was mild, but the taste was full and delicious.
