Today... a seasonal sake that I got on the road 🍶.
We opened a bottle of Hanabie, a garden-eating sweetbreads 😁.
When the bottle is opened, it has a moderate ginjo aroma 🤭.
The first sip shows a fruity taste with a harmonious blend of spiciness and bitterness 🤔.
The aftertaste is more bitter than spicy 😭.
The taste is a little different from what I imagined, but... it's good in the sense that it can be a good food wine 👌👌.
The sparkling wine that I reported on for the first time last time tasted very similar to wine 🍷 rosé, so I thought it would be close, but it was a completely different story 😱.
This one tastes like sake 🍶 lol
I got another Uguisu this time, so I'll report it later 😆.
For now ❗️
Looking forward to tomorrow's taste change as always✨
But...since it's fire-entering, there might not be that big of a change? 😅
Second day report: 🗒️
I think the ginjo aroma has increased from the first day✨
And the most important thing is the taste... most sakes tend to have more umami than the first day 🤔.
But...! This one tastes lighter, with the same umami and less bitterness than the first day 😆.
This taste change was strange and unexpected 😌.
At a nice kappo-style snack bar in Nakasu!
Garden Uguisu no Harusake Hanabie.
Fukuoka sake is generally sweet, says a local friend here.
Indeed, this harusake is fruity and sweet.
Rice: Yamadanishiki
Polishing ratio: 50
Yeast used: In-house cultivated
Sake degree: ±0
Acidity: 1.7
Alcohol content: 15
From cold sake
The taste is quite refreshing and dry.
But it tastes as good with rich food as it does with dry food.
At room temperature, the sweetness of the rice increases and the taste is even deeper.
It is a delicious sake with a pleasant taste.
Good evening! 🙋
Today is March 3, the Doll Festival 🎎.
After a warm weekend, today is a different story, a bitter cold one. 🥶.
It is a cold temperature difference that is enduring to the body regardless of age.
I uploaded the other day, drinking with my senpai in Tokyo, but I forgot to mention the Uguisu (Japanese bush warbler) in my garden.
The owner of the restaurant and the head brewer of Garden no Ugusu are acquaintances, so I was a bit surprised to see that they have everything from junmai to daiginjo.
I was a little surprised to see that they have everything from junmai to daiginjo. My senpai chose the first one because he had never tried sake from Kyushu before, but I forgot to upload it because I didn't take a picture of the bottle. 😅
This brand of doburoku was very good.
The Junmai Ginjo is very mild and soft, and the tension is high right from the start! 😁.
It was very tasty.
