Happy New Year! I have combined some sake that I bought and some that I received. First of all, I drank Yobitomo to welcome the New Year. It's Kubota, so it's light and easy to drink. What should I drink next?
Yobitomo / #Asahi Shuzo (Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture)
This is a limited edition sake from Asahi Shuzo, famous for its "Kubota" brand. This brand is sold only at about 60 dealers, and only to the "Yobiyukai," a study group sponsored by Asahi Shuzo. It has a traditional ginjo aroma and elegant flavor similar to Kubota Manju. The aroma and taste are produced by polishing rice grown with less fertilizer to the utmost limit. The name "Tomo wo yobu" ("Calling Friends") is also very nice.

A gift from an important person. It is a precious sake that only a limited number of "Yobiyukai" members who have graduated from "Kubota Juku," a study group sponsored by Asahi Shuzo, can become dealers. It has a light, royal taste and disappears before you know it in your mouth! Keep drinking this one and you'll be in trouble!
I'm a little excited about it 😃.
It has a clean, uncluttered mouthfeel❗️
I'll be sure to check it out.
By chance, I had scallop sashimi tonight😋.
The sashimi is sweet and goes well with the light and refreshing sake 😆.
