Today I got a bottle of Okei from Sakurada Sake Brewery at the very tip of Ishikawa Prefecture 😀.
The aroma is not so strong when it's cold 🤔The rich rice flavor spreads in your mouth at once 😊The harmony of sweetness and sourness is also good 😚Finishing with a slight bitterness, it finishes off with a kick 😍Jun Dai Me is delicious, but Toku Jun is just as good 🥰It's my kind of sake! I like it 🤩🤩🤩
Yellow in color. Maybe a little cloudy. Almost transparent. When you smell it, sourness and alcohol point to your nose. It also has a flowery aroma.
When you drink it, it tastes quite sweet. I don't know if it's the strength of the acidity, but it tastes like something I've never tasted before. It tastes like dry honey 🤔.
It's sharp and quite tasty. I'm not feeling well today so I'll evaluate again tomorrow.
Next day
Hot and sharp. I feel a lot of alcohol, but strangely it is not unpleasant.
Quite a bit of bitterness. It's still better than I expected.
I drank it at room temperature, but I think I was right.
It also has a slightly smoky taste.
Sake we drank at Wakura Onsen.
It was delicious and different from Sogen. It is made by the Sakurada Sake Brewery at the tip of the Noto Peninsula, and the innkeeper told us that it is not often sold in the market.
I tried an unfiltered special junmai sake from Sakurada Sake Brewery in Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is a junmai sake, but it is very fruity, easy to drink, and has a good flavor. There are still some good sake in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Second bottle of the day. The sweetness of this one came out ahead. The meal was almost complete, and the dried firefly squid was our accompaniment. It was a gift from Yamabushi-sama.
