As the amber color indicates, the mouthfeel is quite peculiar, with a viscous and sweet taste. The lingering aftertaste is long, but also has the sharpness of sake.
It is expected to go well with thick dishes such as simmered fish.
I went to Hamada, Shimane, the sacred land of Nodoguro, and drank some of the local sake recommended to me by the reaper.
I thought he was going to kill me, and for a moment I thought, "I don't care if I die❤".
It has almost no sweetness, giving it the feel of a healthy medicinal sake...but when heated, it takes on a different flavor, with a sweetness that comes through.
Today I bought it because the name sounded interesting.
The aroma is not that strong, and when poured, it has a color like whiskey.
When I drank it, I felt a strong and thick taste rather than sweetness. It is different from regular sake. It's not dry, and it's not so much sweet.
It has a delicious flavor, and the bitterness of the caramel finishes it off.
I wonder if it is similar to whiskey.
I think it would go well with meat dishes and other strong flavors.
I enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much.
Photo right. Chosen because of its cool name...!
Yellowish in color. Sour and bitter. It has an aroma. It does not taste like sake. I feel like I have had this kind of taste before. It is easier to drink with oden.
I've had the Ura-no-shinshin before, but it seems to be a medium-brew.
I don't remember the difference (lol) I don't want to drink Omote anymore, but Ura-nama sake is good because it's easy to drink. It just makes you drunk... 🙄.
