After the IWC, returned to usual asking master to select. Choices mostly from Tohoku it seemed. This had a strong taste, too.

Tried because IWC Champion. Label says, “Brewed in the royal style.” Can see how it stood out in a tasting, a distinctive and flavorful brew.

While still not an Autumn feeling, it has been a little cooler. But we remain in typhoon season! Even if Mother Nature not following the schedule, hiyaroshi always a pleasure to drink. This is a good one!

I think the second time I had this also now at obanzi in Kyoto. Staff said it was “kaori (flavorful). My partner thought on the sweet side. I enjoyed with our meal.

Label says, “Yonagatsuki is another name for ‘Nagatsuki’ in the lunar calendar, and is a drink that evokes the image of a fine drink to be enjoyed leisurely on a long autumn night.” Still sauna like conditions tonight with the humidity. But this did make me feel like autumn will be soon.
